On 10/31/22 I entered into a signed contract with Mr. Lindauer (owner of the business). This contract stated that he would do the following work: remove old pool liner, install new pool liner, install gaskets and face plates, repair rusty ladder, paint entire deck with 2 coats of paint, replace bolts in diving board, repair cracks in cement, pressure wash the deck. They have not tried to resolve the problem supposedly due to health issues, but his sons (who were/are in partnership with him) could've finished the job. I gave him a check for $6000 on 10/31. I also gave him a check for $3800 on 1/5/23. I only owe $498 upon completion. He said that he had to obtain the supplies to finish. I still am waiting for the work to be completed. The remaining work is worth well over $498, which means that I have paid for services that he has not completed. I have tried contacting Mr. Lindhauer multiple times, but he won't answer my calls or return my messages. He finally contacted my on April 24 after my daughter contacted him but he did not provide any information about whether or when he will complete the work. I'm attaching the original contract, which shows the first payment that I made. If necessary, I can also provide bank statements showing the full amount that I have paid.
