    I hire him to build a patio at my house. Signed a contract and gave him half the money up front ($3500). He pretty much screwed up from the very start. He pretty much got wrong everything in the first 2 sentences of the contract. He didn't dig the footer deep enough, dug it for the wrong dimensions, out of square, and out of level. Poured the concrete in the footer with missing rebar on one end. Built 7 concrete piers incorrectly, when there was supposed to be ********************************************** the mortar mix and 3 of the seven piers I was able to kick over with my foot. Didn't show up for over a month, with a different excuse every week. I ended up parting ways with him and hired another contractor to finish the work. The new contractor said it was the worse concrete work he had ever seen. I should have made the new contractor tear out and start over. We decided to build on the footer that he had poured. It is now settling on one corner, because of that corner only had 8" of concrete, with 1 piece of rebar. If I could *** him, I would, but he doesn't really have anything to *** for. Beware of hiring him, you will regret it. I have all documentation of the mistakes, pictures, and text messages of all contact.
