    On May 20, 2022, my husband met with ************** to sign off on a contract to extend the patio, build cover over patio/porch, add walkway, and extend driveway. On that same day of May 20, 2022, my husband gave ************** a deposit of $3,000. The check cleared on May 23, 2022. On May 21, 2022, ************** sent my husband an email with the plans and final estimate to submit to ***. The *** required more information, I then contacted ************** on May 24. On June 6, 2022 I received an email stating my email had gone into the spam folder. ************** stated he would get on it. On June 10, 2022 ************** sent the same plans previously submitted, I then informed him the *** rejected that and sent him the information requested by the ***. July 7, 2022 I emailed ************** informing him we have been texting and messaging for updates. He replied that day with the following statement. My apologies for this but I am going through difficult times, not only work but also family but. I could make you part of the concrete with what you gave me. And if not, I'll return the money, just give me time to organize myself with all this.Let me know thanks. To which I replied. Hi ******,We are sorry to hear of the issues you are going through. We will kindly take a refund.From that point on, communication became sparse. As the days went on, no word from **************. My husband has reached out and I have reached out with no response. All we want is a certified check refund of our $3,000 deposit.

    I paid Lagoscape $5000 to do a project in my backyard. He showed up initially with a plan and a tentative date to start the project. He disappeared after that showed up after 8 months and did not do anything. I know the business address and have gone to his place twice and he just doesn't respond. I have read reviews in other forums and Darbin (Lagoscape owner) has taken money from other customers and never showed up.

    *********************** came to my home and did an estimate for an outdoor living area at my home. We (my wife and I) gave him a first payment to get the project started of $4,250 (Check #***) on 22 May 2022 and he stated that he will come back and get the first part of the project started by 27 May. The check cleared my account on 25 May 2022. He requested my email address and sent me an estimate for the fence on 29 May 2022. I texted him on 1 June 2022 12:05 asking him when he was coming out to work on the basket court extension. He replied back the same day at 4:23 pm that he was "Sorry I was been busy all day but I think will be better if we do the concrete next week Because I did not remember that Monday was a holiday and this week is short". I replied back immediately that's fine what day next week. He didn't reply back, so the next day 2 June 2022 at 2:08 pm I asked again what day next week. He replied back at 4:33 the same day "Probably Thursday". I then replied back okay the fence information has been submitted to HOA. I texted him on Wednesday 8 June 2022 asking him what time will you be here tomorrow so I can let my wife know. He replied back "Good morning I am trying to organize my schedule because two of my employees have not been able to work since last Friday and one of them is the one who works on the concrete just give me time to organize this and in the afternoon I'll tell you if I can do it tomorrow or in a couple of days". His next text 8 Jun 2022 7:40 pm "sorry but I have a busy day and I'm trying to organize my calendar I will try to do the concrete the following week but boy it ends this week and for Saturday he confirmed what day we do it my apologies for this one but I will do my best to do it soon thanks". His next text 15 June 2022 7:01 am "Good morning I have guy this Friday to do the concrete". Friday 17 June 2022 7:43 am his next text "Good morning I just want to let you now that we cannot arrive today etc. etc.". I have attached the text message.
