I took my 2019 **** Ecosport to Burns Ford in Lancaster ** on 9-12-2023 to be checked on ****-2023 the check engine light had come on. I was told on **** that my vehicle needed a new engine and new turbo. I told them when I took it to them that I had it checked at auto zone and the crank sensors were bad. I also had another shop check it before I took it to Burns and they said the same thing Auto Zone told me. Burns told me that 5 lights came on when they put it on their diagnostic machine. They told me that they were going to do an oil analysis on it and they would know more after that. I just didnt feel right about what they were telling me. I called ******************* in ********* ** where I bought the car and spoke with them about what Burns had told me. I had never had any problems out of the car until the check engine light came on 9-1-23. I had my car towed from Burns Ford in Lancaster SC 9-18-23 to ********************* in *********. The service manager called me when the car was delivered and I explained to him everything that I was told by Burns Ford. He said they would check my vehicle and call me back. Later on 9-18-23 they called to tell me that my car was fixed. The oil filter was loose and it had blown oil all up under my car they cleaned the bottom of my car, blew the hoses, put a new oil filter and oil in the car and all the lights went off and it was running just fine. I feel that Burns Ford was trying to take advantage of me to get the money from my extended warranty insurance. They changed my oil on 7-9-23 and I think they left the oil filter loose and it kept leaking oil until the check engine light came on. I feel they should reimburse me for the $150 diagnostic fee and the $250 towing bill and the $191 that Town and Country **** charged to fix the car. I will never take another vehicle to them again. They shouldnt be in business if they are going to take advantage of hard working people.

My experience with them are horrible I have paid off a 2010 Chrysler Sebring and they told me they would put me in a brand new car we'll they lied. Instead I got a 2013 Nissan Versa and the transmission sensor went out 2 months after owning the car and last week the transmission blew and car would not work at all This past week I was trying to trade that vehicle in because of all the problems I've had. So I went to Nissan of Rock Hill and they told me that Burns Ford of Lancaster was ripping people off. They also said the Nissan Versa wasn't worth 1,500 or 500 that the car needed to go back before it breaks down again. Well I got a new car with Nissan of Rock Hill and today the Nissan Versa that I got from Burns Ford would not start. So I called them this morning and told them I no longer wanted it and to come and get it. Burns Ford is a joke they wanted 10,000 or a lemon that didn't even make it a whole year.
