    Good morning,

    Floor Boys of ******* was a satellite office of Floor Boys LLC, located in Lexington SC. The ******* location was operated and managed as a separate location. The ******* location was purchased by the manager (****** ******) and the name of the business was changed to the Floor Store. 

    Due to a variety of no-shows and follow through, **** ******* did not receive the service she deserved. 

    I have personally spoke with **** ******, and ****** ******. He has already made arrangements to order the material required to correct the issues.

    I have also provided **** ****** my contact information at the Lexington SC location. 

    Should the ******* location fail to resolve her issues in a timely manner. Then the Lexington location will provide the service needed to correct the issue.

    April 2020 Floor Boys improperly installed my flooring. They did not prep the floor nor install according to manufacturer specifications. The manufacturer also had major defects in the flooring. After my hiring of an inspector **** flooring agr*** to pay Floor boys to remove my floor and replace it with new product. It has been since October of 2022 that Floor Boys began and stopped and has not resumed and I have been trying to make contact with them to no avail. They will not respond. If they do not want to finish the job then they n*** to refund what I paid for installation and let me hire someone else. I have emailed dean h**** and owner Brian p***. Brian B***** has tried numerous times to scam me out of more money. I have had an inspector come behind him to see if he has told the truth and he has not. Example is he said I need new OSB after a moisture issue I developed in my crawl space. He wanted to charge me $2500+ for it stating that my floor had gaps greater than 1/8 inch and the LVP could not be placed. I called the inspector and he came and he came out measured and he used a level and taper gauge. Nothing was 1/8 or over. Brian B***** used a level and a ruler trying to guess the measurements. I called them out on it now they won’t respond and finish my floor.

    This is intended to help clarify the issue at the home of Mr. & Mrs. **********

    - The LVP was installed as a new construction home in April of 2020

    - The home was inspected December of 2020, by Floor Boys for the floor cupping, that was occurring. A claim was filed on the flooring with the manufacturer.

    - The manufacturer had an independent inspection conducted in January 2021. ( inspection report stated job failed due to cabinets being installed over the LVP ) 

    - Although the cabinets could be related to a small section of the home, Floor Boys did not feel that it would cause cupping of 100% of the job, and asked the manufacturer to re-consider the denial of the claim.

    - While the manufacturer was gathering additional information on the flooring and the home, the *********s hired another independent inspector, he conducted an inspection in November 2021. He  basically reported, that the cabinets would have not caused the floor to cup in 100% of the home.  

    - The manufacturer did re-open the claim and approved the replacement, January 2022

    - The *********s wanted to explore options to upgrade their flooring. After several visits, price quotes for material cost difference, ultimately decided on the exact same floor, just a different color.

    - The flooring was delivered to their home and the replacement installation in September 2022

    - When the old flooring was removed, the subfloor was wet.

    -Ultimately it was determined that the *********s had a moisture condition that had developed in the craw space.

    - The *********s reported that they have since  had a partial encapsulation of the crawl space, correcting the moisture condition.

    - Currently the sub-floor is out of flat.

    - Floor Boys gave the *********s an at cost estimate to correct the issues, so the flooring could be installed and guaranteed.

    - Mrs. ********* questioned the estimate , Floor Boys informed Mrs. ********** that it did not matter who did the subfloor work, or the method of correction as long as the floor was in manufactures recommendations. 1/8" in 6 ' / 3/16" in 10' .

    - It can only be assumed that the crawl space moisture contributed to the floor being out of flat.

    - Mrs. ********* has yet to address sub-floor issues, all of the replacement material is at her home.

    - There is nothing else Floor Boys can do, until such a time the sub-floor issues are addressed.
