      Termite Inspection completed May 24, 2025, bill would be sent in the mail.

      Got my bill in the mail for $175 and called into the office to pay June 5th. Paid with my credit card to office manager, Kristy. She advised that she would get payment applied.

      She charged my card $178 instead of $175. Assuming she made a mistake, I called back June 9th. She advised that they charge a $3 for debit and credit cards. I shared my concern that this was not disclosed when I called and their statement does not state anywhere that there would be an additional fee for paying with my card.

      She became frustrated and tried telling me that they get charged from merchants and other entities charge a fee. I reminded her that other entities tell the customer that there will be a charge, Bugman Pest Elimination does not state that anywhere. She advised that I would have to talk to a manager, who should call me back this afternoon.

      Very unprofessional of a company to inaccurately charge my card on purpose. I did not authorize the additional $3 charge to my card.

      I want my $3 back and they need to let customers know that they are charging cards a different amount then stated.

      We purchased a home at *** ****** ***** **, Columbia, SC, 29229 that had a transferrable warranty for a previous termite treatment. We paid the $103 fee on 11/06/23 (as seen in our checking transaction - attachment included). We have called the company multiple times and now emailed twice trying to obtain the original report and contract for service completed on the home for the prior owner.

      We need this information to understand the terms of the contract and warranty and when original services were performed since the treatment usually lasts 10 years. To date, we have only received a request for $175 protection plan for a new annual term. We understand there will be an annual fee; however, we need the original report and contract to understand all the terms agreed upon by Bugman Pest Elimination and the prior owner.

      They have already accepted the warranty transfer fee but are failing to provide the needed information. We ask for BBB's assistance in obtaining this as there has been continued frustration as Bugman Pest Elimination has failed to provide the prior report and contract.
