    June 14, 2022I was paying for a trip to Canada with Lexington County Recreation Center with Mrs. Doris Y***** since December 2021. I received a call on May 26, 2022 from Mrs. Doris saying the trip had been changed. We were going to Buffalo New York and not Canada and it was going to cost more also. I called her on May 27, 2022 to inform her that I was pleased with the changes and I wanted my money back. She said okay and it she would mail me my refund. On June 3, 2022, I called the Lexington Recreation Center and she was not there. I talked with a male director who stated that he had just signed a lot of refund checks and mine was one of them. He stated I should received my check within a week. Well, I called today June 14, 2022 and spoke with the same man who stated he did not know why I had not receive my check and to give it a few more days. This did not set well with me. I have been waiting almost three weeks for my refund check. I have booked another vacation and I need my refund.

We have advised her that our office has processed her refund. In addition, we have explained to her our checks and balances system, that has resulted in a slower process than she would like.
