This company towed me illegally and had me pay 3400 for not even having my truck for 24 hours. They also charge 1000 for a tractor and trailer tow but charged me more because they wanted to be nasty

    Business Response

    Date: 05/17/2025

On May 5, 2025, my driver was checking the properties that we are contracted to tow unauthorized vehicles parked on their properties. At 10:48 pm my driver was at Mills Corner, 4360 Augusta Rd, Lexington SC 29073. He saw a tractor trailer(Freightliner cab and trailer) was parked on the property. Per our contract we are to impound the vehicle, which we take back to our impound lot, 210 Mac Circle Lexington SC 29073. Our fee for private property impound on a Freightliner cab is $1000 and we charge $150 for storage a day. We technically had it for 2 days but I only charged them for one day. Our private property rate for the trailer is $2000 and $250 a day storage. I also only charged one day of storage. This totaled $3400.  The owner of this truck and trailer knew that they should not be parked there.  There are signs in the parking lot. The owner parked the vehicle in a way that they thought a tow company would not be able to tow it out. Which lets you know that they knew they weren't allowed to be parked on the property. We had to use 3 trucks and 3 drivers to get the tractor trailer off the property.
