    This man is a liar and a thief. I can say that because I have proof! We had a really big remodel and hired a Contractor who subcontracted the job to him and his crew. We don't know anything about construction and later found out she was not pulling permits as required even though she charged us for them. Later found out she wasn't even qualified for the job. Back to ****. He had done good work and what remained required no permits, so we agreed to let him finish. Long story short, he stole over $16,000 from us. According to previous arrests and a court case I found online, his name is ******* **** ********. He is NOT a licensed contractor. He is also an undocumented citizen and does NOT have a drivers license. He told me this himself. After more than a year of him making promises to pay me back and then making excuses and finally ignoring me altogether, I have decided to take my evidence and gather any other I can find and file a police report. In my situation, he made a big mistake. He took multiple payments for project materials, as well as prepayment for a project. Once he got the money, he never returned. This is a crime. Specifically I believe it meets the elements of Breach of trust with fraudulent intent. If you have had the same or a similar experience with this person, please contact me. I'm hoping to find a few people willing to write and sign letters that will ensure he gets arrested. The BBB terms say I can't include any personally identifiable information.

    This business should be shut down by the authorities for fraudulent practices. They literally rip off their clients. We contracted with this Vega Remodeling to remodel our kitchen. We agreed to paying in three stages as outlined in the contract. The project was to take 4 weeks as stated in the contract. After the initial deposit the crew started working painting, preparing for cabinet installation, and taking up old flooring etc. After the second payment and halfway through the job, the progress slowed with him and his workers showing up 2 or 3 days a week then coming to a complete halt with promises to us from Vega that they would be there the next week to finish putting in floor, cabinets and completing other work. They never showed up. Even after countless calls, voicemails and text messages all we got was promises to be there and no one showing up. A portion of the second payment was to go to the counter top fabricator. Vega told us he paid them and ordered our counter top only to find out from the counter top company that they never got the money or the order. Then the same thing happened with the cabinets. We paid him for those in the first draw but Vega never ordered all of them. He kept saying they were coming, they were on back order but, after 14 weeks had passed by with no cabinets and with him no longer coming to work we knew he ripped us off and left us with a lot of uncompleted work that we had paid him to do. Vega lies and does not honor the contract he signs with you. Please DO NOT HIRE Vega Remodeling. This guy is a SCAM artist.
