    Paid a holding fee of $300 back in February. When I asked what my apartment unit number would be, I was told there were no longer any units available and I was placed on a waitlist. The next tenant wouldn’t be moving out until after 13 months. I asked for my $300 back since there wasn’t anymore units available and I was not going to wait 13 months. After months of back and forth the property manager said they would reissue me a refund check. I have yet to receive it nor will they provide with me a confirmation number or any proof that this check was even sent out. I am just wanting my money back. It has been 3 months of back and forth. This property is a scam!

    On behalf of Universal at Pine Ridge, I would first like to extend and apology to **** ******* My staff and I worked on getting her refund issued to her in a timely manner. 

    When the refund was first issued a staff member who is not longer with the company sent **** ******** information to our accounting department. The check was issued but never received. Accounting had to wait 30 days before cancelling the check and reissuing another one. Before reissuing another check I verified **** ******** forwarding address, which has since changed. Once her address was updated, the check was reissued. **** ****** never received that check either. So another 30 days had to pass. I followed up to make sure the forwarding address was correct but it had changed once again. Another check was reissued to the final address given. 

    Normally we do not have these types of issues with refunds so I am not sure why **** ****** never received those checks that were reissued but they were definitely sent out to her.
