    I ordered a British replica mailbox that was set to ship February 2024. I followed up almost every month, and was told there was a delay from the vendor in the UK, there was a delay because of the issue in the Panama or Suez canal, there was a delay because of a death in the family, etc.
    In August 2024, Rick the owner said if the items were not received from the UK, he would refund everyone. No refunds came. I contacted him in January 2025 asking for a status update. He told me all refunds were done months ago and to check my ****** account. I did, and there was no refund. I asked when the refund was done since I spoke to him in August. He said, oh it was done in September. He then claimed he opened a ticket with ****** to see where the money is.
    ****** told me as soon as a vendor refunds, it goes straight into the buyers account. He did not initiate any refunds in September as claimed.
    I have now sent multiple emails and chat requests to him and he is not responding. I am unable to file a dispute with ****** because its been too long. I want my money back!

    I called ****** yesterday (2/5/2025), and they confirmed the vendor has never initiated a refund. I spoke to Rick the owner of the company last night as well, and he said he "cancelled the original refund and resubmitted it because thats what ****** told him to do". I told him I have no refund and ****** is telling me he has NOT refunded me. He then sent me an invoice that says "refunded" as proof. This is not proof, its simply an invoice that he made. I am attaching our email conversation where he claims that ****** asked him for proof of refund, as well as the emails he sent me cancelling my order and a 2nd email that says "refunded". I checked my ****** account again today before typing this and there is still no refund. He needs to login to ****** and refund me directly and he is not doing that. Finally, I am including a screenshot of my ****** and ALL transactions from the past 90 days. You can see, no refund, only me donating money to a charity.

    7Feb update- I have asked Rick the owner to refund my money by logging into ****** and manually processing the refund. He is still trying to blame ******, when they have confirmed he has NOT initiated a refund.
    He says if he refunds me directly I will get a double refund. I told him if it comes thru twice i would decline the double payment, yet he still has not sent the refund.
    Now he claims to be contacting the website hosting company.
    The fact still remains that I don't have the money he owes me and he is giving me the run around like I'm stupid.

    After multiple emails and Rick the owner claiming he sent the refund more than once, and me showing proof he didn't, I emailed him on 2/9/2025 and told him if I didn't get my refund this week, I would contact an attorney. I told him if he would just login to ****** and manually process the payment it would go thru immediately. I also said that if that mystery refund he claims was processed does come thru my account, I would send it back to him because I was honest and wouldnt accept more than owed.


    He replied to me on Monday morning (2/10/2025) again claiming he refunded me but went ahead and did the manual refund via ****** directly.

    Within minutes, I had the money in my account. He still claims he processed the refund previously, even though he has nothing to prove this claim.
    As soon as I saw the refund, I transferred it to my bank account so he couldnt reverse the transaction.

    It took the threat of an attorney for him to do the right thing. He has done this to others and refused refunds. He should not be allowed to do business as he is dishonest, and its a shame he has no guilt for what he does.

    I will NEVER do business with him again.

    My name is **** ** ********, esq. I represent the interests of **** *****, owner/proprietor of the ***** *** ****** *** located at 200 Pelican Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70114. This complaint is filed on behalf of my client, **** *****.

    On December 2, 2022, Mr. ***** purchased a replica London phone booth from Gone With the Grain, LLC for $5,400.00 via PayPal. To date, Gone with the Grain, LLC has failed to provide the said item or issue a refund to Mr. ***** - despite multiple requests.

    Mr. ****'s has had several communications with Rick M****, the owner/creator of Gone With the Grain, LLC, wherein Mr. M**** has promised to deliver the product to Mr. ****'s. These communications are all documented via email correspondence. Mr. M**** has made repeated promises to perform his duty as per the agreed sales contract. Mr. M**** stopped responding to Mr. ***** on February 23, 2024 - and still has yet to perform his obligation under the agreed sales contract.

    As such, Mr. ***** now seeks a refund and indemnification for the damages Mr. M**** has caused by his failure to perform. This BBB complaint is accompanied by a complaint with the FTC and a demand for refund and indemnification sent directly to the agent of Gone With the Grain, LLC.

    August 15, 2023 I ordered a British Bird Feeder from this company and was told that the item would be delivered within 4 weeks. The item never arrived so I asked to cancel the order and get a refund which I never received. I have emailed and called the owner Rick many times. He sent me a email a couple months ago stating the order was cancelled and I would be receiving a refund. I did not get one. Now, he ignores my emails and calls and doesn't respond. I even sent copies of my credit card statements showing the charge on 8/15/23 and then showing that I did not get a refund.
    Can you please help me? This is just so annoying...

    I have provided all of my visa statements to you and to Gone With the Grain to show that I did not receive this credit.  I would like to see a confirmation number and also see the account number and date this credit was supposedly applied to.
