This business has caused me multiple problems with the *** *** *****. They missed two sets of withholding taxes, one for $4,000 and one for $900. The 4,000 took them 3 months to finally tell me I owe it and the $900, they told me I owed it the day before I got a lien, after sending multiple warning letters that I received from the ***. They sent my w2s out late and have filed an extension on my taxes because they weren’t able to complete them in time. I woke up with yet another notice from ******** claiming they have not submitted my withholding tax from Feb-April. I’ve paid in full every month and have never received any of the book keeping portion. This has been a nightmare. Who knows when I’ll get my return back and how long it’ll take to fix this mess they got me in. They avoid hard questions and drag out taxes. All that I want is for them to finish my return so I can part ways and stop charging my card for services I don’t receive.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I had told the company as soon as I receive all proper documents, I would be happy to close the case. I am still waiting on a follow up email regarding two sets of withholding tax, bookkeeping for months January-March and my 2023 return.

We are still working directly with the client to resolve this matter.  Client did note in an email that she would remove her complaint with BBB on 4/24/24 as attached.

We are trying to finalize all work with her by end of week.

As stated in the email, I do not mind claiming this case as resolved once I receive all proper paperwork as a complaint can not be removed. Per the email she sent, she stated I would have all the proper documents by the end of the week and it has been over 2 weeks.

Each week it is a new deadline, as stated in each screenshot I have provided.

Having met with Sage Growth in December of 2022, we signed on to file personal and business taxes with them. We provided all information and tax documents regarding our business in January 2023 by the preferred deadline given, and we provided all personal in March. In April, They had us sign off on filing an extension (due to their problems), and we haven’t heard anything since. I reach out frequently requesting updates, asking about timelines, etc. I’ve been spoken to by the IRS and we’re facing fines for not filing on time because they didn’t file the extension for us despite having us pay for the extension. I’ve received no updates or communication regarding my business or personal taxes for 2022z They’ve had our tax information since January 2023, and we are now at the end of August 2023. All communication has been done via their online portal.
