    I went to get my oil change as I do all the time, I got my oil changed and came back later for a top off and was told I didn’t need one. I went to Georgia for a wedding which is the neighboring state I live in South Carolina on the way back my car started smoking pulled over and said low oil pressure all my oil leaked out of my car and I didn’t know I had to get my car towed 3 hrs back to sc had to get a hotel because I was stuck and have had to uber because they didn’t torque wrench my oil cap and it caused my engine to lock up so now i’m out of a car I worked hard for my car and only had it since March not even a full year and because of their carelessness I have to get a new car and want to settle this matter because if the job was done properly I would have this issue and I have records and documentation.

    We were notified about this situation on Monday. We attempted to inspect the vehicle on Tuesday, but the shop had removed the battery and did not put back in the vehicle. They had the vehicle parked on the side of a busy street in knee high grass. The customer took the keys from the shop and did not return them due to of the missing battery issue.

    We did identify that the repair shop had not completed any kind of inspection other that adding oil to the vehicle. The skid plate was never removed to identify the actual cause for the damage. We contacted the customer on Wednesday morning and explained to her that we needed the vehicle to be inspected by an actual certified mechanic and we would need to be able to document our findings to proceed with the claim process. As of right now the customer is supposed to bring shop manager Chris the keys and he has scheduled time today (8/24) to make a second attempt to inspect the vehicle.
