    I booked this hotel for out of state work. The first time I booked I used ***********. I stayed from January 31 to march 21 2025. The original booking through *********** was 01/31-02/05. Afterwards, I began booking through the front desk directly. In march, I noticed a double charge on my card. After multiple attempts to speak to a manager, and a multitude of problems, I decided to let it go because I was staying another week anyways. Moving forward, I checked out of the hotel and see another charge on my card (duplicate). I called the hotel multiple times with no attempt of help, and my wife finally got ahold of the manager Michael Tuesday. He was rude, unprofessional and hung up on her three different times. He was asked to send her an itemized bill of my stay to which he stated he would get ready and send tomorrow. Two days later, it has still not been received. I filed a dispute with my bank for the monetary side of the issue. However, this is fraud, and to not even be able to get help about 700 dollars taken from my account is absurd. On top of that, to get hung up on multiple times. I am out of state and unable to just go into the business to work out the matter, so I have no choice but to handle this over the phone which is extremely hard to do when the manager is supposedly never there, nobody else can help me, and he will not talk on the phone without arguing or hanging up. I do have my bank statement as proof, but they refuse to send me an itemized bill of the stay. The manager Michael told the bank advisor he could not provide it because I paid in cash for the duration of my stay which is untrue, as they are on my bank statement. This did not only happen to myself, but my other coworker as well.

     Good afternoon.  In response to this complaint.  Mr. ******* **** did stay at the Moncks Corner Inn on the dates stated in the complaint.  Mr. **** was given and shown his bill at the counter by clerks and also ***** ******* the ****.  I ***** ******* explained to Mr. **** that the charges he is lookin at are not double charges.  Mr. **** Credit Card was pre-authorized for the week stay each time and on the date of his check out the total payment was posted.  Mr. **** also checked back in the same day and we had to pre-authorized his card again.  When Mr. **** check out on a Friday or Saturday, he is expecting to see the same posting date by his bank.  I told Mr. **** that when he his checked ouit and checked back in, it has to go through the Audit which starts at 3am each night.  We never over charged Mr. ****, he is looking at posting dates when he checks out and when it reaches his bank that he is confused about.  As being rude to Mr. ****, this is absolutely untrue.  His wife called and spoke to me "Mikle", and she started yelling on the phone and hung up on me.  I explainded to her that I had given Mr. **** a copy of his stays before he left and I can email a copy to him.  This was not exceptable to his wife, so I told her to have him call me since he was the person stayed at the hotel.  Moncks Corner Inn does not take pride or comfort in seeing our guest and I do not permit any clerk and myself to disrespect any guest regardless of race, color or creed.  I also had the night auditor to examin Mr. ****'s stay carefully, so if there were any errror on our behalf we would quickly refund the guest.  There was nother guest that was probably related to Mr. **** with a different first name.  He also had the same complaint, and when I explained to him, how his credit card was charged, showing him the total amout of each stay and the amout of time he stayed, he relized that he was not overcharged, and both he and Mr. **** arrived at the hotel the same time and for the same amount of days.  We do have all of mr. ****'s documents and we faxed copies like i said i would, but he's stating he never received anythin.  Again, we did not over charged Mr. **** and would be happy to produce all of his receipts for his stay.

    Good afternoon.

    Mr. **** states that we told the bank that we could not send or provided information about his stay because he paid in cash.  This is NOT true.  We operate on the Opera System, which records every time a guest is checked in, each time their profile is accessed.  Each time a guest Credit Card is used an authorization code is given.  Again, we would be more than happy to proved a refund if Mr. **** can provide evidence that we overcharged his card.  Please let me know if there's any other information you need.  I can be reached at (843)761-5900, after 3pm Tuesday-Saturday.

    I am rejecting this response because: The bank statements I provided are proof that I was wrongly charged. I was charged twice on 3/20 (one for a whole week) and was gone on 3/21. I was again charged on 03/23, once again, was already gone on the 21st. This can be proven from further transactions after the 21st when I left as the charges will track me back to Texas, therefore proving I was in fact not at Moncks corner. I have asked the manager multiple times and also had my wife call in regards to receiving the statements from the hotel, I have yet to receive anything after being told by one of the front clerks they have already been sent. These are fraudulent charges as I was no longer in the vicinity, I was no longer even in the state.
