    - I secured service on April 6 due to moving out of state and restarted service in order to get an inspection done for the buyers of the property. Now, the company is trying to back charge me for the dates it was secured. To be clear, I’ve called multiple times and they admit that the service was definitely secured on that date. Also, I had paid all outstanding balances already. They are trying to also charge me the fixed sewer rate for the whole time it was secured. Why am I being charged for services never rendered? - Additionally, they are trying to charge me for almost 6,000gallons of water during the time it was secured. It is the exact same amount that they have charged me every month that I was living there. That number hasn’t changed in months and I’ve never used that much water. To be clear, after cancelling, I checked to make sure they had done their job and there was definitely no water being supplied to the house. Also, the first inspector that tried to do an inspection had to cancel because there was no water when he tried to complete the inspection which is further proof that there was no water being supplied to the house (hence me restarting service to get another inspection done). Again, why am I being charged for services I NEVER received. This is thievery. It’s criminal. - I’ve tried to resolve this issue multiple times via phone and the customer service/billing department is not helpful at all.

I am a disabled Veteran. I have 9 screws in my ankle and I am scheduled for a knee replacement surgery. Carolina Waste Management is okay that their team members deliberately place our garbage cans in the driveway so we have to get out of our cars to move them before pulling into the driveway. This is an ongoing problem. It has happened on Friday August 5th 2022, Friday September 2nd 2022 and Friday November 18th 2022. It is painful for me to get in and out of a car. I have explained to both Carolina Waste Management and Berkeley County. However it continues to happen. If you look at reviews of Carolina Waste Management on the internet other people are complaining about the same thing. We all have pictures. This contract is enforced by Berkeley County Water and Sanitation. They did not write this contract with the home owners in mind. There is no penalty for Carolina Waste Management or other companies to perform their job correctly. Time and time again the citizens of Berkeley County are taken advantage of by the lack of improper writing contracts. This is just a generic contract in favor of the business not the citizens who Berkeley County gets paid from with taxes. If i performed like this as an employee of Berkeley County i would be fired but because this doesn't effect them it is okay to have companies treat the citizens like garbage.
