I hired In Bloom to do my wedding florals/decor. I had told the owner, Betsy, I was going to make my own bridal and bridesmaid bouquets (which we had agreed on from day 1) and asked her to do the rest of the florals and greenery for the wedding arbor and table decor. In Bloom not only charged me way more than what they gave me for florals and greenery- which Betsy admitted she didn’t use some of the things she ordered for my wedding decor (which I paid for) but they also gave me greenery that was not fresh and fruit that was moldy and rotting (I used whole pineapples and whole uncut watermelon as table decor and neither of those should have been rotting). When I brought this to her attention she said it was due to sun exposure, which was not the case. I paid $3,981.30 total for florals and what she gave me was no where near that amount. I requested 1/2 of my money back for the table decor only which I initially paid a total of $1,851 - so I requested $925.50 back, she paid $400 but refuses to pay the remaining balance of $525.50 that I am requesting back for florals and greenery not used as well as greenery and decor that wasn’t fresh. Below I have attached the invoice she sent me before my wedding and the. pictures from the day of with “her work” that was no where near what was all on the invoice or what I paid. You can also see the mold on the watermelon in pictures of us cutting the cake.

How does Liv know that the Greenery and fruit were not used for her event? We used more than four large boxes or fresh Greenery on the tables. At contracted events, we refuse to over-lap on dining tables with Greenery as it becomes a safety hazzard for Guests-as well as a cleanliness factor for dining. Mold spores are evident on fresh Greenery as well as White mold which is evident on Greenery and fruit. Both types can be toxic to humans.

Please send pictures of every table that In Bloom outfitted at the venue.

I  have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is NOT satisfactory to me.

In Bloom  charged me  $3,981.30 for florals and greenery, $1,851 of that was for table decor alone and  they did not end up using a lot of it - a lot of the greenery and fruit also was not fresh. (She also used some palm fronds she picked from her yard- I have an email where she said she was using some fronds that she picked.)  See attachments for the table decor -  she did  not use $1,851 worth of greenery/fruit that I paid for in decor. I am still requesting $525.50 back from In Bloom.

    Sincerely,
