      I terminated my service with Mt. Pleasant Waterworks on 8.28.23. Today is 10.6.23. I was told I would receive a refund of my $100 deposit less the remaining balance of my final water bill which was $51.98. I have not received a refund check yet. I have been a customer in good standing for 4 years with never a late payment and a credit score of 780. The customer service dept. does nothing when I call. They had the forwarding address wrong. The person on the phone said they would update the address and re-issue a new check. That was 3 weeks ago. I called again and was told that no check had been issued. I was told a second time that a new check would be sent. The billing department does not take calls so I have to rely on someone at the other end of an answering line to follow-up but all they do is tell me lies.

      $48.02.
                         Representative spoke with Ms. ******** and let her know she would
      forward to accounting to have a stop pay put on the account and reissue to
      forwarding address:
                         PO Box ****, Greenville SC 29606.
                         Information
      was verbally provided to the accounting department.

      Customer called asking if the refund had been reissued.
                         Representative spoke with the customer and explained she did not show the refund being
      reissued.

      was forwarded to accounting.
                        
      Refund checks are issued on Thursdays.

      10/12/2023  Representative and accounting department confirmed with accounting the refund check was being mailed today.
