My wife, *****, and I contracted with Michael M***** of Mike's Custom Cabinets in July 2024 for a kitchen update including custom cabinets, granite countertop, sink, painting, lighting, and electrical work, The work proceeded well at first. In September 2024, we contracted for an additional set of cabinets and painting in my office. By the end of Sept, we paid all but $4,000 of about $100,000. Since 1 Nov, Mike and his team have worked less than 8 hours. Our kitchen countertop has been laid on our breakfast area floor. Kitchen cabinet drawers have not been completed and hardware is not installed, Some cabinet doors need rework/finishing and all painting needs to be completed. No work has been done in my office, since he measured, even though Mike has sent us pictures of cabinet framing from his workshop. We have a nearly daily text sequence with him, as we chose to maintain a record. The texts include pictures that we have sent to record unfinished work, Mike originally promised to have the work completed by Thanksgiving 2024, then Christmas 2024, and the first week in Jan 2025. Mike has repeatedly lied and has shown up on the job without tools or only to "talk" without performing any work. He has provided many excuses and chooses to ignore our questions and statements regarding timelines. We have the text record. We have been living in his mess since mid-August 2024. We would like for the following resolution: (1) jobs (kitchen and office) completed by 15 Feb 2025; we let him know in writing of the deadline in mid-Jan 2025- we changed all correspondence to text since we received nearly daily lies, but have kept the daily correspondence, repeating our request and asking if his team will work the next day. if not (2) we would like the kitchen finished and the cabinets for the office delivered to our home office prior to Feb 15. We will have been cheated on the installation payment for the office work but will try to get another contractor to finish.

Hello, Mike M***** delivered some of the cabinets for my office on Tuesday, 04 Feb 2025. He stated that the desk and office cabinet fell off his trailer near the Don Holt bridge that morning and he is building replacements,

He claimed that he would finish the work by Feb 15, 2025. He claims that he will return this weekend.
