We ordered a shower door from Volunteer Building Products, **** several months ago. The door was supposed to swing out and into the shower. The first door arrived and required ***-Post to be installed as the gap between the existing Glass and the door was too wide. The door did Line up with the Top of the existing glass and the bottom of the shower entry. The supervisor decided that the door was not cut to correct measurements and another door would be ordered. The 2nd door finally arrived. It did line up with the top of the existing glass, but the bottom made a sever clunking sound and leaked. The bottom sweep was adjusted. The water leak was fixed, however, there was a sever "Clunking" sound when the shower door was opened outward and closed. He then determined that the door would have to be "shaved" at the top and the bottom so a correct sweep could be installed. The shaved door came back the same day. When it was installed the "Clunking" sound was fixed, however, now the door no longer lined up at the top. He came back out to inspect and attempt a repair. He was able to get the top of the door within a 1/16 of on inch from the top. He stated that this was the best he could do to align the door (Several holes were drilled behind the hinges in an attempt to bring the door higher and align the top after shaving >1/16" off the top of the door and >1/16" off the bottom of the door. In hindsight the door should have only been shaved off at the bottom to fix the "Clunking" sound. If the door was only shaved off at the bottom, the top would have still aligned properly. The business owner then came out and spoke to my wife about the door issue. He gave her the option of removing the door (Leaving all the extra drilled hinge holes or living with the door not aligning at the top. He stated that the top of the door was within "Industry Standards," and they could do nothing further, even though prior to the shaving the door lined up properly at the top.
