    Recently I viewed a video posted on ******** for ** ****** and what his chiropractic practice offers for patients with back problems and pain issues. I made an appointment and was seen by ** ******* After my examination which included a set of x-rays **. ****** recommended through his financial suoervsior what my treatment plan would include and cost. Signing a contract was completed. Payment in full by check took place. Appointments were scheduled then after the third visit at ****************** I received at home medical equipment and a 90 day supply of diet supplements that included joint health and anti inflammatory supplements. At a 20% discounted cost of $9676.00 for all of this and a total of 24 office visits I decided this was not what I signed up for. I cancelled all of my appointments attended an exit interview to receive a refund of only $4996.44. At the time I signed my contract for service it was explained to me that the equipment and supplements would not be reimbursed if I decided to cancel. The cost of treatment, supplements and equipment was never shared with me it was just a lump cost up front to be paid before treatment could begin. I have filed a small claims against Grand Strand ******************************** with the Murrells Inlet Magistrate. I feel that I was lied to, taken advantage of and sold medical equipment and supplements that I did not want or could afford. Please by cautious with this ** and his practice. Ask questions about your treatment and get a detailed itemized list of what he wants to order you and charge you before you sign a contract.
