      It all began when our tenants complained the AC went stopped working on 10/24/22. We called **** because we thought he was the one that originally put the unit in. He went out and looked at the unit and said the air handler needed to be replaced. He quoted us $3200 for the replacement of the air handler unit and added freon. We went with ****, which turned out to be a $3200 mistake. He told me he put the new air handler unit in. He said everything is working fine and that he just needed to go to tape up a couple ducts, but that he also needed to go to Florida for a VA appointment and would finish when he got back in a couple days. He said the tenants had AC and that they were happy. So I paid him. The next day the AC wasn't working and the tenants were complaining. I called ****. Now he can't come back unit almost a week later and that he is stuck in Florida. I couldn't wait that long as the tenants needed AC. I called Waccamaw Heating and Cooling and they said that the air handler unit had never been replaced. Drain lines weren't even connected and water had been flooding the ceiling. There were bare electrical wires that had been cut and taped. He slipped some type of white goo all over the old unit. All of this was supported with pictures Waccamaw had taken and sent to me. That's when I realized my gut feeling was in fact correct. I called him and asked if I could recoup some of my costs since he never replaced the air handler unit and he lied once more saying that he did. He clearly has no idea what he is doing with HVAC. Now I am out $3200 and have to pay Waccamaw to actually do what **** said he was going to do in the first place, which is replace the unit. Plus I need to repair drywall that was damaged due to his negligence. My only hope is to warn others so that they are not taken advantage of like I was.

      OK I'm sorry I didn't respond to this sooner as I told the customer I was retired however I tried to do him a favor and he couldn't wait one day even though it was only 70° outside and the tenants had air condition so his mother called in another company and his property manager called in another company and Wanna saying it wasn't changed out the other one knows it to change out because he took pictures of the old one Wanna saying that there was tapes in the wire nuts however in the picture if you could see what I buy I'm not sure on the floor arm I took pictures as well so I am willing to work this out with ***** the unit was hit with a power surge I've got his unit it is completely burnt and he called his insurance company like he was supposed to and never called me back after he said that his mom went and got somebody Else he asked me if he got some money back and I told him absolutely we just need to sit down and have his insurance company make a claim and I would help him from now since I've been doing this a long time I've dealt with a lot of private adjusters now I have all the pictures and I have all the text messages and ***** I don't think you want to be embarrassed and so I will not do that even though you're embarrassing me I told you I retired your wife said I put the unit and then she sent me a receipt from some other management company if you guys don't want to ruin the stew stop calling so many cooks all you had to do was tell your tenant to wait till Tuesday and it would've been fine then you have the company go out there that you didn't give the job to who you were already leery of who was charging you triple what the job was worth you had them go out there to look at my work please like I said press Los Angeles the gentleman I'm here to help you arm I don't wanna leave my job and business with this on my head as I told you and beginning you told me I put the unit in I put the wrong size and I rushed up here to help you I was gonna do it under warranty until we found out I was not the company who put it in the wrong sizes on the outside not inside and somebody just put it in your house recently however we had a unit here and was able to help you and your mom on somebody else and understand these people up in South Carolina air-conditioning companies are very ruthless which is why I tried to help you but once again give me a call we'll handle this like gentlemen do you know my number I didn't change the unit out your unit sitting right in my yard Jesus and your neighbors watching you take it in and out to I went through **** that day I spent 11 hours at that job 11 hours I'm 57 years old I did you a favor I will need it was one more day I told them I would be back on Monday they said fine you said fine well Monday turned into Tuesday and everybody went crazy like it was 100° outside so wrong with you it was 70° out

      Unfortunately, the pictures speak for themselves. Tony said the unit was replaced. You can tell by the pictures as well as the date stamped on the unit which clearly says "MAR 2017" (ref to picture), as well as the old rust stains and wear upon the old unit that the unit was not replaced. I also had Waccamaw Heating and Cooling a well as Beach Air tell me the unit was not replaced as well as the damage stated previously. The air conditioning was not working after he left which led the tenants to contact me and complain, understandably so.

      I will say this one more time the neighbor seen me take it out the tenant seen me take it out Beach air-conditioning was there and they know it was a General shoul unit that was there Janitrol it was a 2 ton the unit that is there I told the man I have a unit that is been rebuilt and it will match up size and see a rating to the one that is in his attic because his management company told me they just wanted to get it fixed as reasonable as possible and that they were selling the house at the end of the year which to me mattered not I know it was a good unit and I told him I would put it in for him as a favor to them because as he says in the beginning he feels like he was getting ripped off by the other companies at eight $9000 for a $1300 unit and I agreed with him so I put the unit in I had to cut the wall to put it in there why would I cut the wall anyway I've got pictures of the old unit picture of the new unit plus the serial number where the unit came from to prove my point however I do not want to have a fight with a customer I am retired now I am out of Myrtle Beach as I told them I was coming up just for them to handle this cause I had to sign some papers for myself of my home so with that being said instead of taking a unit to where I live now I sold it to him fair enough and video is all day we were there and also I've got some affidavits from the neighbor so if he keeps slandering my name I'm gonna turn this over to my attorney and his unit once again which is the serial number that his other company went there and said this unit needs to be replaced it is a 2 ton he needs a 2 1/2 ton as you can see that is what has been done I have 1000% proof I will talk to him if he gives me back the unit we can talk about a refund also the unit that was in there was hit by lightning and that's what caused the damage and I told him as well he should call his homeowners insurance well come to find out he doesn't own the home his mommy does so he should be talking to me she should be talking to me I'm sorry she should be talking to me so we can settle this like human beings I have no problem giving Vin back the money for the unit if he gives me the unit back and also pays me for my labor which is 12 hours I mean I'm sorry it was nine hours I was there 9 1/2 hours and I've got my phone to prove I was there at that house that long funny thing about cell phones they have a way of tracking your location plus the $550 for the Freon I had a boy because one of his companies out of the three let the Freon leak out into the air instead unit and once again I will say that I have the text messages from him and from me telling him I could not finish this job in one day do not turn it on and leave it off until I get back on Monday his mommy said no we have to give them people air condition because they want it below 64° in their house and me and him made many jokes about that which is on the phone and in our messages which I will submit if he continues to slander and lie about me tell his mommy to call me and I will take care of the bill because he is not even involved in this he owns nothing the unit
