    On Oct 18,2021 we entered a contract with Sunspace of Myrtle Beach to do a sunroom with attached deck and change the dock surface including handrails. Total cost was for $25,869.66. A downpayment of $8,563.22 was made upon signing. The project was to be completed March 18, 2022. It is nearly a year later. The windows were delayed repeatedly without any new delivery dates given. Some work on resurfacing the dock was started, but remains incomplete still. The promise of window delivery was made in February 14, 2023. Multiple delays were given as we waited for 5 days. No windows came. The servicer stated his truck broke down and was towed to *****************. Going to ***************** to help revealed the lie that the truck in fact did not break down at all. The servicer gave no explanation when told about this. Trust has been broken beyond repair. As of February 25th I wrote a certified letter to Sunspace to cancel this project and refund the down payment given.

    There were numerous delays with this project.  Some of the delays were due to Sunspace of Myrtle Beach not receiving the materials in a timely manner.  Several other issues were due to the Sales/Installation person not communicating with the customer of the office in *********************************************.  This was one of a few projects in the ******** area that Sunspace of Myrtle Beach took on to determine if it made sense to open a second location.  After numerous issues, Sunspace of Myrtle Beach made the decision to cease any future projects in the ******** area.  All matters regarding this project were resolved to the customers satisfaction.

    On November 11, 2021, I went into contract with Sunspace of Myrtle Beach. The project was to convert and extend a screen in porch into a Sunroom..The total cost was $36,500.00. I made a down payment of $9,125.00. The project was to be completed in six months. There was a delay when the HOA did not approve the sunroom until May 3, 2022. This information was forwarded to Sunspace and I asked when will work began on the project and they didn't have a answer.. As of this date, I'm requesting that the down payment be returned to me and I want this project canceled.

    This post is in reference to a complaint against Sunspace of Myrtle Beach. I would not recommend this company to do business with due to their disregard for truthful representation and breach of contract. I entered into a contractual agreement with Sunspace of Myrtle Beach more than a year ago to complete a sunroom enclosure.

    After paying a $9k deposit and agreeing to a work schedule, the owners of Sunspace have repeatedly missed deadlines and offered numerous excuses to why work could not begin. Numerous attempts were made to amicably resolve this matter with no success. Sunspace stopped communication and have refused to refund the deposit or complete the project.

    After several recent attempts, I have not received any response from the above mentioned company. And additional research has uncovered a pattern of misleading customers and disregard for trust and honesty in doing business with members of the Myrtle Beach community.

    Please avoid this business!

    The initial delay with this project was due to the *** denying the request for a sunroom.  Once *** Approval was received, the sunroom was ordered the same day.  There were delays from the Sunspace factory that were beyond the control of Sunspace of Myrtle Beach.  The sunroom was originally expected August 26, 2022.  It was not received by Sunspace of Myrtle Beach until December 15, 2022.  Due to the holidays the installation began on January 3, 2023 and was completed, with Electrical and Flooring on January 13, 2023.  Despite the numerous delays, it was our understanding that the customer was very happy with the finished product.

    My window has a manufacture's defect, it has stains in between the window pane, and Sunspace said they ordered me another window , plus the window was not installed properly and leaked water in during hurricaine Ian, they did not calk and seal the window properly and its leaking water into my 4 season room. They said they ordered the new window several times, one time they called and said the window was in and they they said the order was cancelled? Monday Oct 3rd I called and they said my window was in, and that Phil would call me.......He has not called.........They keep saying they will call me ........I also let them know the window is leaking water and something is wrong. This has been going on since May 9th 2022. They admitted the installers did a lousy job installing my window.....they said it themselves.......I would like for them to install my new window....now and stop putting me off.......They said the window is in but haven't returned my call.......I need this window replaced with a window that doesn't have stains in between the glass....They said it has a lifetime guarantee, and unfortunately I paid it in full , its paid in full and I need for them to finish the job like they said they would do.......

    There were several delays with this project due to not receiving materials from the Sunspace factory in a timely manner.  The delays from the factory were mainly due to production slow downs from COVID.  The window was replaced and the job completed.
