    On 12/17/24, I mailed Socastee Automotive a certified letter. I have confirmation that it was delivered on 12/19l/24 at 1:08pm.I have attached the copy of the packet that I sent to them that covers in great detail two different incidents I have with Socastee Automotive. It includes photos, screen shots and copies of the invoices/quotes that they provided me. At the conclusion of the letter, I have listed the monetary value of what I am expecting as a resolution/compensation.I have not posted any reviews on social media, as I am trying to give them the opportunity to make this right. This is what I am going this route next, as after I sent the letter, they have not reached out me and I would like a resolution please.The attached packet covers all of the details, but if you need anything further from me, please let me know.

    The VVT solenoids are the same part number and are interchangeable in either position on that motor if the other mechanic knew anything about ****, he would know that it would not say that they were in the wrong position. They are the exact same part number *** says that they go in either position. as for the tires, the tech that looked at your car told you that both rear tires were worn out, and he suggested that it even says that on our quote, the split was not there when he looked at him, but he said that the tires were worn out and they needed replace that split came along during your drive. all hoses for anything under pressure in a cooling system has to have a clamp on it. That hose is a hose that was bought from the dealer for that vehicle. It is not the wrong size hose and its supposed to have a clamp on it. Otherwise it would blow off.

    I disagree with your response and I have had two other mechanics tell me your work was faulty.  

    I tried to rectify this with your business directly.  I sent a certified letter and I tried this method.

    i have been a loyal customer of yours for years and have highly recommended you to friends over the years. I even have recommended you to my own customers.  You have lost my business and I will no longer recommend you to others. Its a shame because this town heavily relies on word-of-mouth referrals. 

    I am disappointed that you are not even attempting to make it right.   Its not even necessarily about the money, its a matter of keeping trust and faith in your community.

    All parts have been purchased from dealers for both those vehicles and were installed correctly. I am sorry that you are having other issues with your vehicles.

    I had a fuel pump replaced here on Nov 5th 2021, $738.15 and had to take it back several times, three to be exact. I was supposed to have a one year warranty. The first time they claim they reset the float, 5-17-21 The second time I was charged $60.40 on Sept 29th 2022 and was told nothing was wrong. Still under warranty here. I took it back again for the same check engine light and was told it was a sensor and the board would need replacing and programmed. I refused, they wanted $900. I continued driving the truck with the engine light popping on and off. I finally put it into Addys Dodge, they confirmed the fuel pump was bad, the fuel feed line and clips that were missing from previous shops repair which was Socastee Automotive. This cost me $1679.70.The truck was never fixed and Socastee Automotive caused additional damage.

    We replace the fuel pump twice under warranty and by the third time that we're having the same problem We recommended replace the fuel pump driver module we figured that was burning out the fuel pump.If the fuel feed line and clip we're missing or broken the truck would not even run at all so the dealer probably told him that because they broke it when they were removing the fuel tank and pump. It took the fuel pumps about 2 to 3 months when they would quit working So if your dodge fuel pump quits working in three months is there any way to remove your complaints.

    The fuel pump was only replaced once so the response is not accurate. Once the fuel pump was replaced the check engine light quit coming on. The clips and fuel line were safety concerns from the damage. I doubt ***** is going to make stuff up. O n the other hand Socastee Automotive has a lot of complaints recently. I am not asking for the additional cost I incurred but I am asking for what I paid because they did not fix my issue. Plus I was charged again for a warranty issue. The fact that they claim to have replaced the fuel pump twice is a lie. If I had to guess Socastee realized they damaged my truck further and wanted me to pay for it.
