In July 2024 we hired AMD construction to complete a roof project on our home consisting of;Removing existing shingles and installing new *shingles installed incorrectly Fixing Facia as needed and wrapping with white flashing *never completed Small Shed Roof *never done Remove Chimney, close in Frame back roof (originally flat) to install shingles *incomplete, framed and installed incorrectly without proper support and incorrect use of materials. We agreed to pay for the materials directly by allowing the contractor to purchase what they needed and pay labor via check to the owner of the company, ****** ******** (AMD construction). Costing well over $30,000 AMD construction did not complete the project as we became aware that they were installing shingles incorrectly on the roof they were building according to the ** Building Code ****************** began Monday 7/8/24 and stopped Thursday 7/25/24. During the 4 month period we had a tarp on our roof. The roof AMD construction built continued to leak despite the tarps, this entire time. We had several roofing companies come out and two of those companies' carpenters to assess the work AMD construction performed. During this time, I made over 20 phone calls to attempt to reach ****** ******** and countless text messages. During these visits with other companies, we learned that the shingles that *** installed on the main roof were also installed incorrectly, voiding any manufacture warranty, pipe boots were not cut properly and one installed backwards, proper flashing wasn't installed, and both roofs that *** built (back patio due to rot and contracted back roof) did not have the proper pitch or underlayment. *** never completed, never cleaned, and never responded to try and come to a resolution. On 11/15/24 we hired another company to fix only a portion of ***'s install, costing us an additional $24,930.

Hired Adrian ******* D******* to install outdoor tile over existing cement. $600 quote was to sand down uneven cement, install underlayment and install tile (about 80 sq). He sent 2 family members to do the work, he was not there. Sanding down cement and underlayment WERE NOT done. Underlayment is necessary to prevent tiles from cracking. Adrian came afterwards and admitted job was terrible. Edges are uneven, some tiles are not level, grout very unevenly distributed. I have pictures. Adrian PROMISED to come back and correct inferior work. In good faith, I paid him $400 (check) to help cover labor expense. I paid for and provided ALL materials. He asked for check to made out to his name NOT company name. He DID NOT come back, won't answer multiple phone calls/texts. That would lead one to believe business is not legitimate and/or most likely is not paying income tax. I would love to recover my $400 as well as protect others from being scammed like I was. Thank you.
