    We hired KMD services to perform a construction job on our house. We paid them $14,800 upfront for materials to complete the job. The materials were never delivered to the job site, although the owner **** did bring stuff periodically the owner **** claim to have a Crew of workers and nobody ever showed up on the job. ****, *****************************, the third,, proceeded to tear off the back end of my house, walls and roof to prepare to create a dormer out of 12 days that he was on the job five of them he was a no-show and the other seven, he would show up between 10 and 12 and leave between three and four. There was always an excuse for why he was alone, and his workers werent there. The first couple days the work performed was incorrect and had to be ripped up and redone. He dumped all the debris from the demolition off the side of the back of the house, claiming that he had a dumpster coming and workers who were going to fill the dumpster, they never materialized and all of the debris is still in my yard. There were two major storms during this 12 day period, and the tarp that he brought up was full of holes and tears which resulted in damage to the main floor of my house. He supplied information pertaining to being a licensed contractor, and after contacting the *** in **************, it was found to be that he is not licensed, he also supplied information for a business license with Horry County that has not been confirmed. All together this business owner has absconded with $14,800 of my money that was given to him to purchase material and we ultimately had to hire somebody new to protect the investment of our house. I have reached out, trying to facilitate a solution, and he has responded that he would send me a proposal, but still has not. A police report was filed a complaint with the ************** labor license regulation department has been filed in the complaint with the Horry county government will be filed pertaining to his license with them.

    I contracted with K.M.D Services with Richard (Trea) D****** for some minor bathroom work on September 2, 2022. We agreed to an $800.00 price, and I paid him. He never returned to my house to do the work; he always had an excuse. Finally, I fired him and asked for my money back since he had not done any of the work. After a few days, he gave me a check for $800.00. A couple days later, I deposited it in my bank. IT BOUNCED, and I haven't heard from him since then. I will never do any business with him. I would like him to actually return my money. He did not earn it.
