    We used this company to move us from **** ******** ***** ***** Myrtle Beach to **** ********* **** Myrtle Beach. They moved our entire household the end of July and carelessly put everything into the garage until our house could be moved into (new build). They returned the Friday before Labor Day to move us into the house. We have some broken items and some missing items and damaged items. We paid each move as it happened. We were told everything will be taken care of. The owner did come out a total of three or four times to try to rectify some of the damage, we are missing four bedpost finial's that destroys the value of the set as it is no longer made and we can't replace them. There are some one of a kind handmade decor items busted as some Christmas ornaments busted. There is a dent in the Stainless steel grill hood that he attempted to remove to no avail. There are other things involved that all total took 9 weeks for him to just say he was not responsible for anything. We allowed this guy and his crew to come search our house, and when we did find one missing item we promptly informed him. I know this does not explain everything but I will run out of characters. All we are looking for is a fair resolution to this matter, but he simply walked away. I am not sure how small claims court works here, as we are originally from Michigan. Thank you for any light you can shed on this matter His response to the missing bed items was that you can still sleep in it and missing and damaged are two different things.

    This company moved my household items from Columbia to their warehouse here until I could get into condo They moved items to condo Sep 28 Several items are missing I have given them a list I also asked for claim form but have not received Joel ignores my calls I need assistance

The business stated that he did in fact go to the consumer on multiple occasions in attempts to resolve the concerns. The business also stated that they made efforts to repair but did not see any reason for compensation since they have already make efforts for resolution. Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2022/12/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The moving company broke a desk chair,which he did have repaired. Among the items I listed as lost were three glass shelves which he was not able to locate. I called him from a glass company's office and told him it would cost $100.12 to have new glass cur. He told me to do that and to send him a list of items which I did. Also when his men were packing I specifically told them Not to roll a leather desk mat as it would crack if they did so. When I was unpacking I found they had indeed rolled the desk mat and it cracked. I showed this to him. I restated that my bicycle helmet was lost along with a. Box of Stephen King hardback books. He has made no effort to resolve these items as well as the other missing items on my list. Plus he has blocked my number and will not communicate with me.
