  One more time... buyer beware. After four weeks of excuses and broken promises, ****, the business owner, has not started our painting and carpentry project. And that is after a substantial deposit for the job was provided up front. I canceled the work for non-performance, today. My next challenge will be to get a refund of my deposit, since he has gone entirely non-responsive to calls, voice mail and text messages. I hope I'm wrong, but I expect to see him next in small claims court.

  Buyer beware!!!! If I could give a negative star review I would. *********** gave price for labor and for material. He never provided receipts. He was suppose to paint our apt, painted 1 room (wrong color). He left 2 gallons of paint (and 5 gallons of wrong color) however we paid for 15 gallons He was also suppose to do the floors (he didnt finish) so we had to have renters move to a different apt. He did use all flooring he purchased but we also paid for 1/4 round which he didnt put down nor did he give us the material. When we would send a text or leave message he ignored them or would say I need to call you back and never would. My wife would text or call him for update, he would say that she was bothering him while hes going through personal issues. Hello we are paying customers. We lost rental revenue because he would say he would be done by x** and then disappear. He left town without telling us (for personal reasons for about a week) all the while telling us he would be done during the week he was away, he obviously knew he would not be done since he was not even in **. He told ** the paint and 1/4 round were in his garage/shed, he sent his co-worker to get material but it was not there. We told him to provide material or to just reimburse us for the missing paint but he didnt care. He just chose to ignore. We asked him for name of where he purchased the flooring as we had hired another contractor to finish his work and he said he didnt remember. SO NEEDLESS TO SAY STAY AWAY.

  Although the job done by this person was quite adequate, he took cash to purchase materials and was supposed to supply the receipt for them for me to be reimbursed. After numerous attempts to have him comply, he blocked me on text and email and refused my suggestions how he could comply. Poor business acumen!!!
