    The *** here, has made bad decisions prior to taking on river oaks, tennis and golf resort. I have to tell you this place is a dump. I rented here for one year and still have four months left. I will not renew. The *** here is running with scared money. Because of their bad investments. I came here and rented it for one year to see if I would buy here. No way. Stay away from this place you get no help from the ***, the realtor that takes care of problems, doesnt get any help from them. And believe me, he tries Ive seen his Texts they just dont have the resources because of their bad investments and they just dont care. Stay away!

    Worst vacation ever! My family and I drove six hours to River Oaks in Myrtle Beach only to be told by the front desk that they had no reservation showing up for us. We booked through ******* and had our confirmation number and receipt for paying. We showed the lady at the front desk all of the information and she just told us that we need to contact ******** When we asked her for a number to call ******* directly, she said that she didn't have a number and also that they had no available rooms even if we got through to Groupon. We had no other choice but to call other resorts and hotels around to find a place to stay for two nights. Currently we are still waiting on a refund from ******** While we were at the front desk of River Oaks, other travelers that had booked through a third party were having problems checking in also. It would be nice if River Oaks management would at least issue an apology or something to us, because the lady working the front desk had no problem with kicking travelers out with no place to stay. RIVER OAKS RESORT DOESN'T DESERVE ANY STARS, but this website requires that you give at least one star.

    Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. We booked through ******* drove 10 hours to check into a condo that was filthy, spiders found, so unkept. Sheets not clean, jelly on one sheet and blood stains on another, clumps of hair in the bathroom along with stickers stuck to the bathroom door, stains on the comforters like they were not even washed. My children could have cleaned this place better. Back door handle half broken round not open, vent in bathroom hanging half way off, curtain rod broken, blanket was shoved in closet floor, trash under small table. This place was not even attempted to look presentable if we had not arrived so late we would have not even stayed the night here. I took pictures of everything as well but can't seem to attach them here. ******* should remove this place as an option and river oaks resorts should not allow these condos to even be rented out because it will give them a bad reputation.

    There is mold everywhere. They do not clean at all. It is filthy. No one comes to clean or change the linens. The cable does not work. We stayed in building *** unit **** It was awful. Reservation was under ***** ****.
