    Hired this company even though their price was a little higher than the other bids I got, because they said they would be able to complete the job within the next week. (We were looking to get the ** for our new home) They said they have their own metal shop and make all panels themselves, and when asked if the crew were employed by them rather than subs, the answer was yes. (LIE!) Also checked to see if River would be onsite during install to supervise, he said yes (and the was not on-site a single time during install). 10 days later, the crew finally shows up, a ************** Honest Roofers (clearly not employees) and a different metal company delivered the material. The roofers completely destroyed the hardy siding above the roof in several places. They also left exposed nails outside of flashing, and screwed down visibly through the decorative wood paneling under the overhang roofs, despite me asking beforehand would they use short screws on that. It took Macklen Roofing an additional two and a half weeks to then fix all the problems. Oh and they jacked the price up by $500 after work was complete on a bogus excuse that they thought we had metal flashing already in place at the time they quoted the job (we had very obviously TEMPORARY FLASHING that had been placed by the siding crew to make things waterproof until the proper **MPLETE METAL ROOF SYSYTEM was installed. ***** climbed on our roof to bid the job so we are not sure why he would not have noticed that at this point unless he is not experienced in actually installing metal roofs, as opposed to just dialing up the cheapest subs he can find. We are also now left to paint the siding that was repaired ourselves as he would not send a crew to do just that small space. 100% would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
