    Rented 2 storage units in May 2023. Closed out the first one in Dec. Waited months for the security deposit refund, after several phone calls. Closed the 2nd unit months ago, after several more calls. No refund. No answers nor response to message left

    On July 28, 2022, my friend called me and told me I better get over to Storage Work, and check my motor home. Someone had cut her catalytic converter off her MH.. I went immediately to check on my motor home, and mine had been cut off too. I went into the office to speak with the manager, Cindy. I told her what happened and asked if it had happened to anyone else there. She said she did not know of any others. I called Horry County police to storage works to file a case. While the officer was filing my report, he said this was the third time they were called here for the same reason, this week.. I went back to speak with Cindy, to tell here what the officer told me. I asked why she didn't alert the other MH owners to warn them, and she said it wasn't her responsibility to do so. I asked about the security cameras that she assured me they had. She showed me a picture of the area at night, and it was so dimly lit, that you could not see anything. I told her I would alert others about storage works on social media, and she said tell anyone you want. I went back on 7/29, to take my MH for repairs, and there was a couple standing next to their MH, and I wa told the same thing happened to them.I posted this on Next Door neighbor, and others said the same thing happened to them. So, that made at least 5+ victims in just the month of July. Also, when I asked the manager, Cindy, would we get our deposit back, she said no. Since it was 7/28 and I would be out on 7/29, I asked if I would be charged August rent. She said yes, because I didn't give her 10 days notice!
