    Paid $3200 deposit check that was cashed in a couple days for a $6400 window replacement job contracted on 6/27/24. Got excuse after excuse why he wasn't coming to do the work that he wrote on the contract would **** *-8 weeks. As of 9/2/24, he (***** ******) stopped responding to me. Now it's 6 months later, no work done and he has not responded to me in any way.

    On May 22, 2023,the contractor ***********************,c/o Southern Trade LLC. took and cashed my deposit check for $3,282.50.This cashed check on 5/23/23 represents a 50% deposit towards the installation of a new custom sliding glass door and window in my house at ***************************************************************************. To date Sept 13 2023,no work has been done. ***** has not responded to our recent calls or texts and cannot be reached for a resolution. At this point in time ,I(We) want the written contract cancelled and a return of my deposit check of $3,282.50 in the form of a certified cashiers check. I,(we) do not want any further contact or promised work from *********************** c/********* Trade LLC. We would appreciate BBB help in this matter to prevent further economic damage to us or other senior citizens in a similar situation.     The contractor for Southern Trade *********************** set out to do two properties that I own for enclosures on the back porches with windows and a door, siding to match the homes, insulation and finish up the inside on the day of final pay. This wasn't done in the proper form of the siding all matching at the end of property 439 Sunforest Way, not all insulation done, door frame was put in with dents and black markings all over it. Holes left in both properties in the walls and house wrap placed on it instead of wood. The inside porches have not been finished with insulation and walls with paint. The company isn't accepting our phone calls so we can resolve this issue. I'm consulting with an attorney. The transaction started on 3/7/2023 and the check number is *****. We also asked for him to get permits , he said he didn't need it and we explained we would pay for it and haven't seen him since that day 3/7/2023. Total amount for both properties is about ******. Please help us resolve this problem.
