Hello, I purchased a car at Superior Auto Sales in Newberry South Carolina and I’m trying to fight back to get the owner to due a payoff to my bank back the full amount I paid for the car of 14,570 and close my loan because he would not replace/fix the front lower bumper of the 2018 Nissan Altima I purchased. He told me it wasn’t in their budget and some other stuff. I didn’t notice the front bumper until the next day after purchasing the car because it was sitting in the grass and was covered up. He told me he would offer me 13,200 . I had no choice but to take that, well have him mail a check to my bank for that amount and I pay the remaining to close my loan because I was over it at this point, but I feel like he was wrong to do me like that and not pay the whole 14,570. He said he didn’t trust me to mail a check to my bank for that amount first ,and to show that my bank say 13,200 and that he’ll mail the check out once he see that on my amount but I don’t see why not because the loan is in my name so I basically called my bank and spoke with a representative went ahead and paid what she asked… Showed him and told him I had no reason to lie. He told the representative he would overnight the check to them Friday and they should get it Saturday to cover the rest of my loan and close it. He got her address and I made sure she noted it on my account just in case something happens. I will never do business with them again.

******* ****** purchased a 2018 Nissan Altima for $13,995.00 from Superior Rental Car Sales on 4/10/2023.  She stated she would purchase the vehicle as long as we purchased two new tires and a new battery for the vehicle.  We agreed and settled on a sale price.  She used Navy Federal Credit Union for financing on the auto loan.  We called Navy Federal and secured the loan amount code.  Ms. Wilson signed the check and we deposited it that day.  We paid the vehicle off to receive the title, purchased and installed the new tires and the battery.  The vehicle was in perfect operating condition.  There were no problems with the engine or transmission and only minor cosmetic damage on the very bottom of the front bumper.  The bumper component in no way effected the performance of the vehicle.  The next day she asked if we could replace the bumper.  I told her we would be happy to replace it at our cost but unfortunately we could not pay for this repair since we had already agreed on a sale price.  She demanded we replace the bumper for free or give her a full refund.  I informed her that this was not a simple process.  We already paid off this vehicle and the fees associated with that. we already installed two new tires that were not needed and a new battery that was not needed.  She wanted me to write her a check directly.  I was not able to do that since the auto loan was secured with Navy Federal.  I told her we would buy the car back from her for 13200 which would cover our cost involved in this transaction but our payment would need to go to Navy Federal.  She agreed and we sent a check for 13200 to Navy Federal overnight.  The check for 13200 was deposited by Navy FCU and cleared our bank on 4/19/23.  I am disappointed that we were not able to satisfy ******* ****** in her used vehicle purchase but I feel we absolutely and definitively acted in good faith and went beyond what is reasonable and expected in this situation.

We had the 2018 Nissan Altima listed for sale at $14,995.  We lowered the price one thousand dollars to $13,995 for ******* ****** and also purchased and installed two new tires and a new battery.  The vehicle was in excellent operating condition and sold on April 10th, 2023 for well under its retail value.  We are unable to confirm when Navy FCU received our overnight package. The check we sent them cleared our bank on April 19th, 2023.  We made multiple attempts to resolve ******* ******'s concerns including speaking with other members of her family.  We thought they could help mediate and offer advice in order to reach a satisfactory resolution.  It's disappointing to hear the customer is unhappy.  We feel we went above and beyond everything in our power to act in good faith in this transaction.

once again, stop lying! You didn’t send the check overnight! Even mike said to me, he don’t know why you would say that.. (the other salesman)! And those tires wasn’t new because they looked like y’all sprayed gloss on it to make it look new… even my mom said one tire look like it had too much air in it compared to the others.! I don’t know for the battery because my dad wasn’t there to check! I’m over the situation. Just know I won’t do business with y’all again and will let others know as well!
