Will never return here. It's unfortunate because they have so many good reviews. The dentist was the most unprofessional pediatric doctor we have ever had. The hygienist before the dentist was fantastic. She was able to calm my 3 yr old and explain everything she was about to do in a soft tone. My daughter was scared, as any toddler may be with the dentist. She did cry, but the hygienist was a huge help. When the dentist came in, it became a completely different story. She was rude, explained nothing, and was not empathetic to my toddlers fears. As she was being calmed down by my wife, the doctor commanded my 3 year old to "Lay down" "Open your mouth" "Dont do that" "You don't need to scream like that". My toddler was screaming. We felt terrible about it but the doctor was not helping. She forced my toddlers mouth open and shoved her tools inside. Not saying what she was doing, just still talking to my 3 year old as if she's not a 3 year old. When it was time for another part of her checkup, she took a thin "paint brush" and started brushing strokes with my toddlers teeth with an unknown substance. She didn't explain anything. My daughter started screaming "Ow! ow! Ow! It's burning!" I don't know if it was burning her or she was just scared but no explanation whatsoever. My toddler bit down on the brush and broke it in half. The dentist continued to use the tool and didn't noticed the brush head was still in her mouth. Her mouth started bleeding. The doctor, yanked out the other half with the brush half, still in her mouth. Still didn't know the brush was separated. My wife then grabbed the broken brush out of her mouth before she choked on it. She told my daughter "Lay down so I can see where you're bleeding." My wife then said "She's too scared now, her mouth is bleeding." The doctor said "Well, she bit the brush." Not, an "I'm sorry" or anything. She can't be the only 3 year old to be scared and to bite down. Why use a flimsy brush? We will find another dentist

Thank you for your feedback. Although we do not believe your comments accurately characterize the interaction at issue, we are sorry you did not enjoy your experience at our practice. We cannot comment on the specifics due to HIPAA privacy laws and out of respect for our patients. However, our goal is to make the dental experience fun, with as little stress as possible, for our young patients.

If it did not happen, I would not have written it. Thanks.
