    My mentally ill father was sent here to this group home. Wanda promised 24/7 care, trained professional to hand out medication, a hygiene service to keep the men clean, laundry service, transportation to various places, medical team would come to the facility to treat these disabled men, 3 meals a day, church, and so many other wonderful details. This was a lie. My father went 2 days without his medicine bc the house manager didn't have a ride to get it. They did not have hot water for days.
    My grandmother and I went to check on him for the first time and when we went into the home it was terrible living conditions. All of the mentally disabled men were dirty and clearly neglected on a level I can't even comprehend. Everything I asked the house manager about what Wanda had promised seemed like new information.
    Within a few days of the house manager being in charge of my father's bank card he had stolen most of his money and blocked my number on my father's phone so I couldn't call him. After confronting him he threatened my father into calling me to say everything was ok. Wanda said it was my fault for giving him the card and kept blaming me. After lots of avoidance and being hung up on, I now know she's aware and just doesn't care. In the 10 days my father was there he spoke of the terrible things that were really going on. My husband and I went to get him on the second visit.
    These disabled men are handing over their disability check monthly and have no voice. No one knew of these conditions and no one is speaking up.
