Called 2 other shops before making this review to confirm what I already knew. Took my truck in for diagnosis and repair. Ended up getting charged for parts that were not replaced "manager attempted to tell me the (exhaust manifold that's listed on my invoice for $478.84) was actually referring to the downpipe. There's not a downpipe in the world that's almost $500. The "exhaust manifold" listed on my invoice was of course not replaced. Reused the flex pipe I had on the truck as a temporary repair, and left the clam hanging less then 9 inches off the ground. So when my truck hits a bump and the exhaust gets ripped off. I guess I'll be in touch. I was charged $264 for a 4 inch heavy duty V band clamp. Which would be ok if an inconel clamp was used but it was not. The clamp on my truck costs significantly less then the price I was charged. I was also charged 8 hours labor to replace 8 feet of exhaust. I wonder if the worker went and had lunch in Myrtle beach with his wife while repairing my exhaust which required less then 4 hours total labor. The ONLY repair done correctly "after bringing it back once to have it fixed because it was leaking" was having my brake caliper replaced. ABS light came back on when I left due to an ABS sensor which (apparently) didn't show up the first time they scanned it which (but another one did that cost me $550 for them to replace). Didn't even get core charged removed for the brake caliper that was replaced because my old caliper was apparently so bad that it couldn't be returned for a core. Which I already knew wasn't true. The caliper 3asnt damaged. Just bad. But made sure to charge me for that too. $1349 to replace 1 caliper. $4,850 total for what 2 other shops said was GROSSLY over priced. I shouldn't have paid more then $3200 for. I wish we lived in a society where people were treated fairly and if an issue came up. The shop in question refunded the person for what was done incorrectly "or not at all in my case".

I’m sorry you feel this way about your experience here, but it seems you have misunderstood both the information on your invoice and the scope of the work that was performed.
As our General Manager told you, the part listed on your invoice as “pipe assembly exhaust manifold” was not an exhaust manifold. The part we purchased and installed at your request is GM part number ********, which you’re welcome to search online. When you search for this you may also find that this is not the “direct fit” for your vehicle. This is because you asked us to modify your exhaust system by removing your exhaust brake during this repair. That required us to search the GM catalog for a pipe that would now cover that extra distance based on measurements. We could not simply call the dealer, give them your VIN, and get a part. Your direct fit GM ******** pipe would no longer work.
The 8 hours billed on your invoice were to remove your damaged exhaust, modify to remove the exhaust brake, clean up from another shop's prior repair, and install the replacement parts. This estimate was authorized by you on our electronic approval system prior to the repair starting.
As to your complaint about your exhaust now being too low, we used the OEM factory hangars and when you brought it back for us to look at again we confirmed it was installed as designed.
For your brake caliper repair, please review your invoice again and give us a call if you still think you were charged a core. It very clearly states you were refunded the core charge and we'd be happy to show you where. As you stated, it was not damaged so we did not charge you for the core.
Our team provided you with a quote, you approved it, and we performed the work. If any of our work fails due to parts or workmanship we will of course handle that by warranty but you have made no such claim.
