I chose Aquatica after based on promises from their rep, Brenden, who emphasized strong communication, quality craftsmanship, and project completion within 3–4 months. Ten months later, I’m still dealing with poor workmanship, unresolved issues, and no communication.
    1. Property Damage & Lack of Communication:
Workers severed my septic and irrigation lines during construction—caught on surveillance—but never informed me. Sewage and water were left leaking until a neighbor alerted me. I had to fix it myself, despite repeated ignored calls. Aquatica’s only response? A $100 credit.
    2. Tiling & Stone Work:
Workers were seen sleeping on my lawn and patio—confirmed via surveillance—after weeks of no progress. Management brushed it off, saying, “They’re subcontractors.” It became a public embarrassment, even appearing on my neighborhood’s social media.
    3. Grading & Sod:
I paid $5,700 for grading and sod, but it was installed without proper prep. Neighbors reported large drop-offs around the pool. My concerns were dismissed until I flew in, visited the showroom in person, and demanded action. Only then was additional fill brought in.
    4. Spillway Problems:
The spa spillway never worked properly. I was told by staff it was “working as designed.” A month later, a crew attempted a fix but left sharp tile shards, sand, and mortar in the pool. What a mess. Cleanup was never offered—I had to hire a pro. Mortar remains stuck to the pool finish and may now cause damage.
    5. Additional Issues:
    • Leaking autofill and return lines
    • Pool panel/pump shut off for days
    • Spa drained during freeze protection, flooding the yard and killing grass
    • Air in pool jets never resolved
Most of this could’ve been avoided with proper supervision. Instead, I’ve endured stress, extra costs, and months of frustration. I urge others to avoid Aquatica and choose a company that values quality, communication, and accountability. Aquatica, sadly, is not that company.

Seeing the below I am somewhat jealous - you at least got a pool (wink wink). I am going on 6 months (May 10th) from signing contract with still no progress to even have permits in hand in order to start work. Curious as to how that's an option I would look at the below comments regarding lack of communication and the customer having to steer the ship. Here's a breakdown of dates:
    11/10/23 - Contract signed
12/15/23 - Check on permitting process. Was told 'ran into a few snags but getting through the process"
1/4/24 - After establishing connection with my sales rep/POC I was told we needed to remove some of our driveway due to being over the impervious amount (thanks previous homeowner but ok; told POC to get a quote to move the project forward)
1/20/24 - Re-engaged on when the driveway will be done.
2/14/24 - Team shows up to do the driveway even though I explicitly told them 2 weeks in advance the entire family would be out of the country and we could do it the week before or would need to wait until the week after...
    2/27/24 - Driveway finally done.
3/3/24 - Told we needed to have trees included in our suvey (town's request)
3/20/24 - Survey provided to Aquatica for final permits
4/2/24 - Pool layout needed to change in order to accommodate trees
    4/9/24 - Re-engaged due to no comm
4/23/24 - Town reviewed fencing to protect trees, needed 1 additoinal fence of 6ft in length installed.
4/29/24 - Re-engaged as to where this last fence is to get permitting. Told 4/30.
5/1/24 - BBB entry being done :) ... still no fence.
Lots of lost weeks in the above. Sure the town plays a role but turnaround time for minor items is insane. I view this company as someone who started off well and either grew too fast or lost a major player from within. Based off the reviews they pale in comparison to what they were prior to 2023.

Very nice pool, but totally unacceptable after-service, with multiple problems starting shortly after completion of the pool and complete lack of response from the company. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Over promised under delivered. Committed to 8-10 weeks took 15. Project manager not focused, I had to drive them to get it done.
