      Palmetto Primary Care Physicians is a South Carolina umbrella health company that buys up private practices. I had an unacceptable experience with one of their new doctors, a doctor my Mother had followed from his private practice to PPCP. This particular doctor dropped his care of my Mother because I’d tried to reach him over the weekend and received no response. The phone call I did receive from this doctor on Monday was totally inappropriate and very unprofessional. He was anger with me for trying to get in touch with him over the weekend because my Mother had fallen and needed care following the fall. I filed a complaint with them. Initially, Palmetto Primary Care Physicians profusely apologized and said they would investigate the issue of the doctor’s unprofessional behavior - unethical, unprofessional anger phone call and dropping my Mother. I followed up twice and never received a response. Not impressed with Palmetto Primary Care Physicians and would not recommend any doctor in their system, particularly if they are unwilling to correspond and resolve a patient’s complaint.

      Was lied to about service provided both over the phone and at check in. Was only told after the exam that they couldn't do the blood test I requested. They intentionally lied so I would have to pay for the exam that I was told was required for the blood test I needed. Avoid this place if you can help it.
