    Booked a room with Atlantic Winds from website and later booked at different hotel at better price. When tried to get my money back was told it was non can-cancelable. I checked werb site and it did not not sat that. They said it was on another website linked in fine print. I think it should be a good practice to have it show on the original website and not one tha is further down.

As noted in the response to Case # XXXXXXXX the booking in question was made via Booking.com, an online booking service. all of our reservations are non-refundable which is disclosed before, during, and after the booking process by Booking.com. The booking was made by ******* ***** and 11 days later cancelled by ******* *****. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/07/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Booking.com website say if you cancel 48 hrs. before due date you can get a full refund Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/08/07) */ This complaint by this individual was previously addressed by Case #XXXXXXXX and subsequently marked as closed. As noted in the response to Case # XXXXXXXX, the booking in question was made via Booking.com, an online booking service. All of our reservations are non-refundable after 24 hours which is disclosed before, during, and after the booking process by Booking.com. The booking was made by ******* ***** and 11 days later cancelled by ******* *****. The Booking Acknowledgement sent by Booking.com to ******* ***** states "A deposit of 50% of your booking amount is required to hold your reservation with the balance (including the $200 damage deposit) due no later than 30 days prior to arrival date. a 50% refund of the total booking amount will be granted for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival".
