      Visited here with my family for our Christmas vacation/shopping trip December20-23, 2024. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. We arrived late in the afternoon and took our things up to the room to get settled. The room had an awful smell that I determined was coming from the refrigerator. We sprayed the room and opened to balcony door to help with the odor. After a terrible night of tossing and turning I woke up at 430am and noticed that I had several bites marks on my back and arms. I took a shower and immediately packed up our bags as I could only assume that the room had bedbugs. I notified the front desk and they moved us to another room. We took our things to the new room only to find a dead bat in the shower. We were then offered a third room on the 9th floor and it seemed to be a lot cleaner than the previous 2 room. We were there for 3 days and I can honestly say this was our worst stay ever at ***************************** and we vacation at the beach several times a year. I was told by the front desk that an exterminator had been called in for the 1st room. I was never contacted by anyone about the bug bites although I did provide photos to the staff. I would expect a full refund for my stay and an offer to replace my ruined family vacation.
