    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The invoice attached by Mark Murphy is from 06/25/2024, I followed their their recommendation and had my oil pan replaced on 10/25/2024. Mark Murphy called me on 01/08/2025 and asked me to bring my car by and to bring my receipts from when I had the oil pan replaced. I went in shortly after with my car and gave him the receipts. They put it up on the lift and examined it, he of course tried to place the blame on everything other then one of his employees causing the damage. He tried to present a temporary solution of re-threading the plug but I told him no because this was a brand new oil pan and eventually it would still need to be replaced. At the end of the conversation he told me they would just replace the oil pan at your next oil change. I told him that might be a while and he stated that was okay, he would put a note in the computer and to call 2 days before I was planning to come.

I am attaching the receipts provided to Mr. Murphy showing the oil pan replacement as well as the receipt from 12/13/2024 when I took my car in for an oil change. If you look the description section, there is no mention of a recommendation for a new oil pan. If the oil pan was not previously replaced and they did not cause the damage that they tried to fix with an oversized drain plug, then it seems the recommendation for a new oil pan would still be listed.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *****

replace the oil pan that they damaged and when I refused, they quoted $300 which I also refused because they should be liable for damages and repairs. To date they have refused to rectify the issue.

    Good Afternoon

I have reached out to ****** ***** for further documentation about the replacement of her oil pan which she claims had been replaced. I have attached the previous workorder from her oil change which recommends the replacement of the oil pan which she said had been replaced. I will be glad to work with her if the pan has been replaced not just the gasket to repair the oil leak. Brenda states that we did not inform her of the oversized drain plug. Please see attached previous invoice which we did inform her of the situation.

    Thank you

I mistyped in my response, I spoke with Mark Murphy on 01/07/2025.

    Business Response

I am at a loss for words. I did look at her receipts and i agree that the oil pan was replaced upon inspection. I did inspect her car and found physical damage to the customers oil pan where the drain plug is located. Which I showed Mrs. *****.  Mrs. ***** informed me that she was working for *** delivering packages for the holidays. She stated that the roads that she was traveling on created the damages. I did agree to try to rethread the oil pan for her to alleviate the problem. I myself decided to replace the drain pan for her out of good will even though we did not create the physical damage to the drain pan prior to us changing her oil. That being said i now retract my offer to replace the drain pan due to the fact that Mrs. ***** is still blaming us for the damages that she created will driving her car delivering packages on the rough road conditions that she stated created the damages.

    Sincerely

    Mark Murphy
