Click's Grading removed a lot of trees for me and I had no complaints about the quality of their work. Then he suggested that if he put in a retaining wall for me, it would make it much easier and safer for me to mow the back hill. He measured and showed me how it would go; 3-1/2 feet tall and over 100 feet long. I agreed that it was a good idea and paid him, by check, which he told me to make out to his wife because she would make the arrangements for the cement. He said they needed the money to hold our place in line with the cement company, and also to purchase the material for the forms. Then his machine broke down. Then it was too rainy. Once he got his truck stuck on an overhead power line. As it got closer and closer to winter, the area wasn't drying out well and he said we would have to wait until spring. Then spring came and more rain. Then he got injured, but was back working again. When we would get a dry spell and I would ask him when they were coming, I'd get no response. When it was wet, he would respond. He set several times he was going to come, but set them far enough out that it usually ended up being wet. Other times, he said he was coming and didn't show. Other things were going to be finished when he finished the wall. There is a huge pile of the removed trees to burn and another one that is supposed to be turned into mulch. I told him that it was difficult to mow because of this and some roots left from what had been removed in other parts of the yard, as well the grading on the back hill. There was getting to be more dry weather and I really wanted this to be completed by the end of June. I finally told him that if he couldn't have it done by July 4th, I wanted my money back so I could get someone else to do it. I have gotten no response on that. I have no idea whether his reasons are true or if he is making things up, but it seems to me that he should have had this done by now (my preference) or given me my money back.

On September 27 2023 I paid Jason and Carla $1,875 to have a concrete pad poured then and additional $728.65 on Oct 24, 2023 because I went bigger on the pad. On Tuesday November 7, 2023 the concrete was poured. Was told it had a guarantee if it cracked. Jason still has not come back to fix the cracks or the leave places in the concrete. On October 4, 2023 I paid Jason to put in a drainage system for my walkway. He had to cut my concrete to put in the drainage system and was suppose to fix the price he cut out and still has not fixed it. On Friday November 17, 2023 I paid Jason and Carla another $1875 to pour another concrete pad that was suppose to be poured the week after thanksgiving and nothing has been done. I have been told and told and told he would fix everything and the concrete be poured and still nothing. I need help in getting this resolved. If he is not going to then give me for money back of $1875 and money to have the sidewalk and other concrete fixed. I have all the text messages and phone calls on record.
