      We requested a room ON the beach with access to a swimming pool, hot tub and lazy river. We were placed in a room in a building on the far side of the property with no beach access nor any access to a swimming pool, nor hot tub nor lazy river. The pool near our building is closed! When we asked for a room where we wanted, we were told that none were available; when we asked for access to a working pool and hot tub and lazy river, we were denied!! This was NOT what we paid for! The manager, *******, tried to claim the we made the wrong reservation and that it was our fault that we were in the wrong building. How is that possible when we requested ocean front access with a king sized bed which we also didnt receive. The manager appeared unwilling to assist. We saved all year for this trip and travelled from *********** to get here and cant see or even hear the ocean and there isnt even a place to swim!!! This has turned into a nightmare. It was a waste of time to even pack swim suits!!!

      Have always enjoyed Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort. This year is different. On May 3, 2023, I had to cancel a reservation for June 17 that I booked February 24, 2023, well within the 14-day cancellation refund period. Was told I would receive a refund of my entire deposit of $549.06 when I cancelled, but because of new system, it would be issued by check in 2 weeks. Two weeks has turned to 4 weeks and no check has arrived. Call and no one answers the phone, no response to emails. Such a shame to have to write this review to warn others Litchfield Beach and Hilf Resort is not the same friendly vacation spot.

      My brother and I have been trying to reserve a room for 2 weeks! The staff always asks for your credit card information BEFORE knowing if the rooms are available? A total of 7 calls each being 20 minutes long only for them to tell you our system is down. FOR HOW MANY WEEKS is the system down? This place is a joke. I spoke to a male supervisor on 5/11 and he was useless. He allegedly found a room which was MORE expensive. I asked if it would be a free upgrade since the h*** they are putting me through and he said, No there isnt. We will sell the units regardless ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I think they are running a scam and selling my credit card information. They need to be investigated. I am also contacting the attorney general.
