The date of transaction was 20230617. We paid a total of $2,746.81 to have our floor repaired. A 5 Handyman Services started the service on the 22 June. The stripped the wood that was there, cut it out to let it dry, and laid a new set of vinyl wood on the 26 June. The very same day, the tenant that lives in our house (we are renting it out), showed pictures of the work and said that it was coming up already, was not installed properly, and was making more of the floor around it coming up. I messaged him immediately and said that it will not last long and needs to be fixed asap. He said that night he would order more boxes of the flooring and correct the issue. I messaged him on 30 June asking when he will be returning to fix the floor and he said as soon as he can find matching floor tiles. On 15 July, we still did not hear anything so I reached out, and asked him if we will be charged because he did use the remaining boxes that were left in the house and he said no. He said as soon as he got in contact with the manufacturer for the exact floor he will lay them down, and will contact the tenant to find the best time to come back to fix it. On 28 July my husband reaches out to him because the tenant says that the flooring is getting worse, and asked when he will be coming to fix it because he did not give an answer. He did let him know that if he did not, we will be requesting a refund and seek legal action. He said that he will be at the house to fix it on 7 August. We found out on 2 August that our tenant will be leaving because they just bought a home, and reached out that day to verify that he was in fact coming that day to fix it so we can sell the home, which he said that he will be there. He messages on 7 August and said that he was just called into court that day and could not make it, but would be there on 8 August. He text on 8 August and says he’s still in court. We ask for a refund, because it took two months with no action. We have yet to get the refund
