    **Details:**

    On June 5th, 2024, I provided **** ****** of Hansen Glassworks with a deposit of $2,250 to replace my windows. He informed me of delays in obtaining the windows and scheduled an installation date. However, that date passed without any response when I called or texted him.

    Over the following month, I tried to reach *** ****** daily and only succeeded in speaking with him once. During that conversation, he assured me he would install the windows, but the promised date came and went again without any action. He then agreed to return my deposit.

    Several months have now passed, and *** ****** has neither installed the windows nor returned my deposit. He has stopped answering phone calls and texts to both his and his wife’s phone numbers.

    I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter, either by having the windows installed as promised or receiving a full refund of my deposit.

    10/3/23 Estimate given for installing glass shower doors $1,700
    10/04 Replied to *** ****** that we accept & to put us on his schedule for installation
    10/10 Contacted *** ****** to ask him when they would install shower door
    10/11 *** ****** says he's sorry & dealing with family member who had brain surgery
    10/11 We reply that we are sorry they are going through this. He tells us that he will get caught up on everything the next day 10/15
    10/17 *** ****** comes to the house to look at job site
    11/02 *** ****** & his brother/partner **** ****** install the shower door. They advise us to not use the shower for at least 24 hours. We waited longer than 24 hours. Probably an additional 4-5 hours on top of the 24 hours recommended.
    11/07 Contacted *** ****** that we have a situation. That the glass had smears we couldn't understand why & then realized that the caulking was not dry and gooey & was not cured.
    11/14 Reached out again to *** ****** telling him that we had guests coming into town and needed our shower to be fixed before their arrival.
    11/16 ***** texts he wants this resolved. ****** replies he is at a funeral & to contact his brother ****
    11/18 *** ****** texts us that his brother **** will be by next Monday to fix the problem
    11/20 No show to fix the caulking. I texted *** ****** @ 4:30pm to ask him if his brother was coming. I also tell him that my husband called & went straight to voicemail. He replies that his brother would call us & also gives us his number. I text his brother **** & no response
    11/21 I text both of them to please fix the problem and ****** responds "ok"
    11/30 back from our trip asking them to put us on the schedule. *** responds that they will be @ our house after 5pm the next day.
    12/1 No show & text "what now to them.?" *** replies a family emergency happened.
    12/11 *****'s last text attempt asking for a date & time to fix the issue

    It's been over a month. We have been nice & patient. Just do the job right.

    Good morning,

    There's an added situation to this complaint. The shower door does not fit probably anymore. It was fine when installed, but in the past week the door hits the other part of the shower glass and does not close smoothly as it should. Just a terrible company and what a waste of our money. Almost $2,000 thrown to the wind.
