I googled weed eater repair near me on 6/24/24 and came across Mobile Small Engine Service. I called the number ************, The owner ***** answered and I explained our problem. He told me he does weed eater reapirs and I can drop it off. We drove 25 minutes and the business was actually his home. He met us outside. We had texted before arriving. We have a Husqvarna weed eater. He said he would figure out the issue and call us shortly. I didn't hear back from him and texted 7/1. He said he changed the carburetor, but it still shuts off and would update shortly. We had explained we needed it before the 4th of July if possible. I texted 7/2 and he texted back we would have an update the next morning. I did not receive a response. I texted again 7/9to ask for an update. No response. Texted again 7/10, no response. Texted again 7/15 and 7/22, no response. I told him if it can't be repaired, no problem but to let me know and we could come pick it up. He no longer is responding. This is our property. I even told him that I would like to resolve this without having to do anything further since he has stopped responding. We aren't sure what is going on and we have been very patient and tried to resolve this on multiple occasions. This is not how a business should be ran. He is keeping our weed eater, which happens to be a very expensive brand. That is why we wanted to repair it vs replacing it. Either he needs to repair asap or give it back with no cost. We had to go buy a new weed eater since he wasn't responding, but we still want our property back.
