    On 12/26/2024 I saw Dr Buck at ******* Dental and he referred me to CAROLINAS CENTAR FOR ORAL AND FACIAL SURGERY. I was scheduled and appointment with Dr Sanjay B**** on 12/31/2024. Once in there i was told that i needed 2 biopsies from my lower left gum and they said they can do them on the same day. I agreed and the billing person asked me to pay $2204 upfront and said that they will my Medical Insurance and my Dental insurance and i should be able to get a refund since i had met my annual out of pocket with Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina Federal plan. The procedure was done and I received a message from Blue Cross saying that the claim was filed on 01/03/2025 and it was DENIED for missing information from the provider. On 01/14/2025 I went Carolinas Center for a follow up and I spoke with the billing lady and explained what was happening with the claim and I gave her a copy of EOB from Blue Cross and she did not even look at it and told me that Blue Cross has not requested anything from them. On 01/16/2025 I received a phone call from MEGAN ***** who is the office manager at Carolinas Center and explained her the issue. She sent me a HEALTH INSURANCE CLAIM FORM filled out and say that I can send it to Blue Cross.and that form still missing information requested from Blue Cross.Today is 01/27/2025 and Carolinas Center has not sent any revised claim form to Blue Cross .I just was on the phone with Blue Cross and they called Carolinas Center and could not speak to anyone about what they need to process the claim.This looks like FRAUD because they ask for money up front and they are really hesitant to file insurance claims because they know that they will have to reimburse me for the payment upfront.

    Hello I just wanted to let you know that was contacted by the Billing department of the practice and they REFUNDED me  $1104 .
    I believe this action on their part is acceptable to me.
