    I paid for a 12 month membership to my local 9 rounds and then owner closed the franchise after only 4 months. I have reached out to them he old owner who no longer had a working number and the email is returning to me. I sent messages to 9 rounds customer service via their website. Only to be told that they will not do anything that I have to go through the owner. Even after I told him no one was answering and they are still refusing to refund the $800 that I paid for a membership to the gym that they closed.

    Thank you for your message regarding the concerns you have received from ******* ******** regarding a 9ROUND franchised gym located at **** **** **** ******* ******** *** which was assigned an ID of ********.  As the location was an independently owned and operated franchised location, we are unable to provide Ms. ******** with a refund because 9Round Franchising, LLC, as franchisor, does not received any of the payments Ms. ******** made in respect of her membership to the former franchised business.  9Round Franchising, LLC recognizes this may be surprising for customers of the franchised locations to hear because the said customers are often under the impression that we, as franchisor, receives the membership money from the individually owned franchised business.  While 9Round Franchising, LLC cannot provide Ms. ******* with a refund for the reasons given, we have reminded the former franchisee of their responsibilities in respect of membership fees. We are sorry to learn that this local business has not responded to Ms. ********** requests for a refund, but unfortunately we at 9Round Franchising, LLC are not the responsible party in this matter and are unable to assist further.
