We Initially bought the **** Unit and they did the install. Recently found duct work was not connected to vent in attic. Called for service and could never get them to make a service call to fix. They were a no show twice in two days and then ghosted me on return calls to reset up the service call. I would not recommend them. Another HAVC company took my service call. They came and showed up on time. Did repair and noticed that this company failed to fix/service in installation! Get your **** system from someone else that stands behind their work and system in a timely manner.

I apologize for the lack of response from the office. You unfortunately got caught requesting service during the transition from the original owner who had to retire due to medical reasons and the new owner. During the transition some of the staff were retained and others were not which caused the issue you experienced. 5 starsAs an Engineer, I was impressed with the operational efficiency of "Inverter" equipment vs. lower level of systems from other brands, and the 25% lower price than other businesses quotes for the lower level systems. The seer 18 system functions in below 20 degree temperatures and still provides a 75 degree "in home" temperature. I purchased it in time to sample its "hot weather" and "cold weather" performance, which were both impressive over the previous seer 10 system. This is a great product at a bargain price, with all of the same warranty as the lower level offerings from 10 other AC businesses.Review fromCasper P

I was sold a A/C in unit in April 2020 that was too big for my home, call another company to get the unit service and was informed that the unit was freezing up not enough air was going across the coils. That meant during installation the attic unit was improperly installed. I wasted $7000.00 on a unit that I never got service out of, only had the unit 4 years. I finally had to get a entirely new unit. Spoke with the manager of Energy Sharks he just argued that it was the right unit for the size of my home and that he had an engineering degree. We never ever change the size of a customer's existing system. We 100% of the time replace the system with the exact size that is there when we arrive. Please understand the original builder of the home had to submit a "Manual J Heat Load Calculation" report that determines the correct size of the system to the local inspecting authority prior to passing there mechanical inspection. This Manual J calculation (software) determines the correct size the system needs to be and shouldn't be deviated from. That is how we know the original size is correct and why we always replace the system with the same size. Unfortunately, some of the local companies pay commissions to their technicians and employees which is an obvious conflict of interest and leads to this type of deception. If the new company changed the size of your system from the original they to should have completed and provided you with their own "Manual J Heat Load Calculation" report to show you why they are recommending a different size then what was used to pass the original inspection. I would request a copy of their report as any legitimate heating & air company knows this calculation must be done prior to resizing a system. I am confident you are going to find this company didn't do the required Manual J calculation and instead just shot from the hip to make the sale. You are correct we are owned and operated by a degreed mechanical engineer. You can be sure he knows how to use the Manual J software and would never ever change the size of the system without taking all the required measurements and inputting them into the Manual J software prior to making any changes to the size of your system to make sure he doesn't end up in this exact situation. Keep in mind if you aren't measuring you are guessing. I am 100 % confident whoever just changed out your system was guessing. The only true way to know why they recommended changing the size from the original size is to request a copy of their Manual J calculations report.Review fromJames K

We had issues with our upstairs AC being unable to maintain a set temperature. I had a 2.5-ton unit and wanted to upgrade to a 3-ton unit. Phil inspected my home and advised based on the number of outlets that increasing the size of the unit was not the problem. He recommended we add another upstairs air return, increase the air return duct size for the downstairs unit, and that a smaller 2-ton variable capacity (York HMH7) unit would do the job. I was skeptical but realized from my engineering background that evaluating the functioning of the entire system including feed and distribution ducts made sense. Within a week the new system was in place and the upstairs doesn't vary by 1 degree from the set point. We could not be more pleased with its performance. The installation of both systems was done in less than 8 hours. Danny and his crew were quick and professional. Tonya at their main office assisted me in filling out the rebate forms that got me back over $2,000 in rebates from my electric company, natural gas company, and York promotion. I believe their pricing was reasonable. Expertise in evaluating my total system, professional installation, and administrative support all were there for me which is what any company should strive toward.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the entire Energy Sharks team and for confirming the best performance of a heating&air system is when it is evaluated from a holistic approach. Air conditioners don’t make air they just cool whatever the amount of air you have going through it. Thank you for trusting our recommendation to not increase the size of your system but rather increase the size of the intake to double the amount of air going into your system and ultimately doubling the amount of air cooled by your system and delivered into your house.Review fromJose R

I'm glad that I hired Energy Sharks for my HVAC needs . Although I initially planned to get at least three quotes from other companies , I was convinced to go with Energy Sharks after reading their excellent reviews , Phil inspected the project , provided a quote , and even helped me with financing. The entire process went smoothly
On the day of installation , two vans and a service truck arrived at my house as promised . The crew was professional , knowledgeable and worked well together as a team

Energy Shark did an excellent job, not only installing a York gas pack but also modifying duct work to increase efficiency, the outside work is great with the framing and sealing it.
