    Stukes took advantage of my elderly father. Over charged him, did not install the unit he requested. The Stuke brothers refuse to return my fathers call. Provided no documentation for the unit.

    1. Stukes brothers
    We are not brothers. We are father and son with my father being 79 years old. We have not been in business for 40+ years by taking advantage of people.
    2. Overcharge
    We base our prices on what our distributor charge us for equipment. It was Conasters responsibility to get other bids from other AC companies to check prices. I called him with the bid and told him what the price was and he told me to install the new unit. We only sell Heil equipment which is what his outdoor unit is. The furnace and evaporator coil inside is made by Mortex specifically designed for mobile home applications. Conaster was told at this time what equipment was going to be used. No other brands were discussed.
    3. Phone calls
    We have had three conversations with Conaster since the install. The first was September 10, 2022 where Conaster accosted my father and mother in Walmart. Conaster was told that we don't sell Goodman equipment and the only paperwork sent is the install instructions. September 14, 2022 , Conaster called at 9:38am and left a message. I called him back at around 10:30 am with no answer. Second call was at around 11:30am where I spoke with him. Conaster was told by me at least 15 times that we only sell Heil equipment. Note that this call was a day after the complaint filing. September 20, 2022, Conaster called after hours around 6:30pm. I called him the next day around 8:00am. He told me the drain was stopped up and his ground circuit fault interrupt was tripped. The AC units have nothing to do with GCFI outlets. These outlets are found in bathrooms and kitchens around sinks. My helper and I went to his house on September 21, 2022 and found no evidence of water on the furnace or in the coil drain pan. Then Conaster stated he unstopped it however he did not replace the furnace door which HAS to be in place for normal operation. We did find that the emergency heat did not work and that was corrected. During most of this visit, Conaster was argumentative and used some foul language towards the end of visit. My helper and I then left after everything was checked. These are the only calls made to our business after the install of the new system.
