  The over charge me for electric and water . Then I had to call 3-4 times to get my security deposit back that they say they lost and will expedite it . Still waiting 6 weeks after. Worse place to stay

  ARE YOU A SMOKER (tobacco, marijuana, cigars, vape)? DO YOU HAVE A DOG AND HAVE ZERO DESIRE TO PICK UP THEIR POOP? Look no further than the Reserve at Wescott Plantation. This community is perfect for you!
  
  You can live here and smoke to your hearts content, even around the beautiful pool. Your lease may reference this is a smoke-free facility, but that is a myth. You can ignore that all together, many residents do. You can absolutely smoke on your patio, especially marijuana, even if it fills the other apartments around you with smoke. Management will not bother you! It also doesn't seem to make a difference that marijuana is illegal in South Carolina…
  
  Now for dog owners, this community welcomes your four legged family members. You can save money on poop bags too! You won't need them. It is completely allowed, and welcomed by management, to have your dog poop wherever they want! The walking paths are a favorite spot. Just let your dog poop anywhere without the hassle of bending over and picking it up. What a relief, right!?
  
  All joking aside, this community looked really nice when we moved in, quite pretty at first glance. After living here for 6 months an entirely different view presented itself, very different than our first impression. We've dealt with two management companies, both with incompetent and rude staff. The move in process was a joke, even difficult to get the keys or the required trash can (don’t even get me started on the trash pick up process, or lack thereof!). They couldn't get anything straight, so the simple act of paying rent and utilities was always screwed up and not available online. If you choose to live here I recommend you document everything and keep copies, you will need them!
  
  There are no cost savings, luxuries or clean air to be had in this community, keep looking would be my highest recommendation.

  Worst place to live in. Pictures are deceiving and to be quite honest you never see the same faces in the office. Communication sucks. They never answer their phone or emails or claim they never received anything. MILITARY!!!!! Read your contract, especially if you're military and have a significant other living with you. They will not honor your request to break lease with any orders and force you to pay $2700 for breaking contract (bc your significant other isn't in the military). There are roaches and pest control never comes. It also smells like weed 24/7 and you have nosey and rude neighbors who like to smoke even when the place is suppose to be "smoke free". Owners never clean up after their pets. Grills never work. There were little kids in the gym just playing around. They don't rush to fix anything. Corporate office is rude and honestly this whole consonant is just money hungry. I would never ever recommend this apartment complex to anybody.

  If I could do zero stars- that would be a no brainer!!! I am a current resident. I just moved here in June and I'm already counting down the months!!!! The pictures are BEAUTIFUL on their website (when it's actually up) and depending on what building they tour you in, you may just fall for it. I am in the worst building!!!! And they KNOW that this is the worst building, but still keep getting people to live there. We are not even able to enjoy the amenities that persuaded us to move here! The pool is DISGUSTING! The grill by our building is always filled with ants, you smell weee constantly, the leasing office NEVER RESPONDS or answers calls. I had to leave a note in the door, send an email, go by the office, and still never got my issue resolved! There are constantly new people in the office. They obviously don't all speak the same language in there, because nobody communicates with anyone. The managers just to push everything away instead of handling things, and I honestly feel like this is the WORST decision that I've ever made. They are waaayyyy to over priced for the environment that you have to live in. I have called the office because my lights COMPLETELY went out in my apartment randomly (bill paid) and called the emergency line- with no response. Ever! As well as having one of my outlets "pop" while cooking- still no response. We had to call pest control within a week of living here and he literally came in for five minutes (if that) and asked "where I want him to spray..... SIRALL OF IT!!!!! This leasing company is a joke! And I will be reaching out to their corporate office to file a complaint. Please stay away! Their rating was almost five stars when I chose them, it's a 3.9 now. Please don't come here. At this point, an INTOWN SUITES would be better.
